So Roach should do padwork on a southpaw stance because Manny is a southpaw? Then how can they work on counters and defensive maneuvers for Mayweather's lead right if he is in a southpaw stance?

Your question tells me you don't know the purpose of pad work so I explained it to you in my previous post.

I thought you understood that Floyd uses the pad work for keeping his reflexes sharp and not for training for a specific opponent but I guess not. Floyd or his uncle don't care what Roach, Manny, or any other coach and fighter does for pad work. Everyone has their own way of training. You should understand why Floyd does his pad work the way he does it.
