I agree, but maidana was winning in the center in the 1st fight. He was beating floyd and the punches were coming from weird angles.

I am confident floyd corrects that by using his reach and being more offensive than defensive.

Yeah you can't let Maidana get off first. He's difficult to counter because he is so awkward. He corrected it in the rematch. He moved more, didn't let him get set and tied him up. I expected him to do that first go around which is why I thought the fight was a mismatch.

Many times we have seen two fighters who are considered past it, lace the gloves and give us one hell of a show. Hopefully this will be one of those times.

Lets be realistic though, they are still the best 2 fighters out there even if they are out of their primes.
