You will never see Floyd throw a punch like that though.

You got to figure, Pac is always talked about like the big puncher/power puncher in most of his fight yet he hasn't scored a stoppage since 2009 and that was the ref jumping in or even Oscar retiring on the stool. Hatton was his last true power shot KO and that was at 140lbs...

Perhaps Jr. has finally come to realize, Pac's power isn't all what it's made out to be at 147lbs and he's willing to take a few more chances to show he's the stronger guy on the night kind of like when Marquez out powered Pac in their 4th fight.
This would prove a lot to the naysayers on Jr.'s side and help further his legacy if he can beat Pac at his own game. Although it's risky, I can honestly see Jr. trying something different in this fight to throw off Pac and Roach.

I DARE Floyd to attempt this strategy. The only chance Floyd has is by KO. He cannot outpoint Manny. It's damn near impossible. Floyd is 38yrs old, man and unless he's juicing, he is not going to win this fight. His flashy lifestyle and wins over B Level fighter after B Level fighter is why the world is picking him. Manny is a quiet killer and carries himself with class. In this era, people are bored with that and like flash and big mouths. Manny is going to out stamina Floyd. Floyd gives you the impression he could go all night, but he cannot. He's only in condition to fight at slow paces/tempos. He cannot fight at the intensity that Manny can.

you obviously didn't see pac at the lower weights.

pac didn't get more powerful, bigger fighters were easier to hit.

pac didn't get faster, bigger fighters were much slower.

Floyd would absolutely throw a punch like that except he would be defensively responsible so he'd probably grab Manny right after landing it.

                pacquiao is always under estimated.

you look at him and you see weaknesses.

he's this or that, he doesn't do this or that.

every opponent always thinks he can beat pac but most can't.

it's the intangibles. something about pac aside from his skills that gets him wins.

Marquez through it and put everything in it, Floyd doesnt do that and the only time he threw a punch that was that committed was against Ortiz.

If he is going to throw punches like that he will be eating far more.

steroid use can damage your knees...Hence, JMM injured his knees in training. The training/exercises made it worse.
Could explain the problems Manny's having with his legs too...
