I laugh when people think floyd will walk down manny cuz he's done that in the past with other south paws.

Walking to manny is what he wants.

First he needs to catch Mayweather in the corner, then he must pass Mayweathers "coming-in" punch and still keep Mayweather there, then he must make sure than Mayweather doesn't effectively clinch it out. That's not easy. If he gets caught, Mayweather is out of there, and we'll have to wait a round or two for another opportunity. In the middle of the ring Pac won't be able to hit him very often, he'll just back off and the moneymans arm reach will have a big impact at this location. I'm very skeptical to how Manny can approach this, he's definitely slowed down. (look at the first Bradley fight, 11-1 in rounds and the second was pretty close 7-5 and that's not even being overly generous. I'm afraid to say it, but when Tim boxed in that second fight, he made the rounds very close( and boring))

Besides that I believe we'll see Manny expecting the right hand, followed by a perfect left hook from Mayweather, a lot of times, one of the best punches in the game.

Manny needs to pressure him to the ropes and hold him there. Cutting off the ring is completely essential, that's where Pacquiao can really do the damage. If Floyd lays on the ropes, we could see some very deadly combinations land cleanly.

It's easy if you are Mayweather.

Floyd walked down Ortiz who is a mentally weak fighter

Floyd walked down Judah who is a mentally weak fighter who has stamina issues and he was behind early on

Floyd still switches between high guard and shoulderroll guard even when he is walking down fighters except Mosley fight where he just used the high guard

Didn't Floyd move a lot vs Guerrero if I remember right?

Manny will try to walk him down, but Floyd's defense will be too good and will be unable to do what he wants.

If Floyd tries to walk Manny down, It will be because he staggered him, and when Manny gets his legs back, Floyd will go back on the defensive.

I agree that he did it with some southpaws, but he won't do it unless he's pressured into doing it, I'm sure.

Floyd will sit back and try to control distance and pot shot manny... he will take no chances.

You'd be a fool to expect him to do anything else than what he does best, for this particular fight.

I think floyd decided to walk down southpaws is cuz he can be hit without the shoulder roll so he decides he must be more agressive
