Back in 2009/2010, some bookmakers had the fight 50/50.

Pacquiao has declined more in recent years and that has bee reflected in the odds going out.

With his wins this year and Floyd's poor performances those odds have been coming back in this year.

The odd will continue to come in on Pacquiao. So bet him now, as for Floyd I would wait till the last moment to bet on him (or not bet at all)

Do you know how a book is made?
      Whaaaat?

The 'bookies' don't give true odds you goofball.

It's like how in my example back there, the %'s added up to like 104% (something like that, I'm not going back and looking). Giving the house a 4% edge.

I was asking you for the true odds. Eliminating that 4% edge. In order to find value (i.e. a profitable bet).

Like I said, simple shit. Simple. That you don't understand.

It's a 50-50 fight because it's a very close fight on paper, there are a lot of unknowns with this bout. I see no reason for either guy to be a heavy favorite, a narrow favorite either way sure but it's not like you're making it seem.

Did an intolerant douchebag take over LoadedWraps account? or is the same guy who spent months talking up Maidana's chances trying to convince us Pacquiao has no chance.

        Move along mate.

          Really? How do you figure?

By saying that "trued odds" don't exist in sports betting?

You, my friend, are clueless. You haven't dropped a hint of sports betting knowledge. Because you don't have any.

OK, I really have to run now. School will be back in session when I return. Go read a book or something in the meantime.

            So Where's all the hype?

A week ago, the fight was announced. Now it's not even a big deal. You guys want to know what's poppin around here?? What color is the dress? Or some Kim Kardashian's instagram photos. Where's the hype for the fight? I mean, I know boxing fans are rare to come by in the US. But it's Mayweather vs Pacquiao. Not Jessie Vargas vs somebody. Where's all the festivities?

I never said bookies give true odds. The bookmaker had the same odd for a Pacquiao or Mayweather win.

And there a betting site where they have these "true odds" where you can bet or lay against other gambler and just pay a commission on your winnings.

But if we go back to the original point. People are betting on Pacquiao, quite a bit and that is why the odds are coming.

              Schools Out!! John

Mayweather stalled on the negotiations, so hardly any press/media tours so little hyping of the fight.

                Blame Floyd.

Look out, we've got a regular Billy Walters here!

Standard procedure. Sharps wait until the public brings the odds down on Mayweather, then they bet him.

Tons of public money coming in on Pacquiao. Just the way we like it. If there's one thing the general public does poorly, it's bet on sports.

As evidenced by your lack of knowledge on the last few pages.

Really? Because I actually heard that HBO and Showtime were still resolving issues. In fact, representatives from both HBO and Showtime said issues weren't resolved. But I get it. Blame Mayweather. Its more trendy than "Blame Espinoza" or "Blame Hershman." So I get it.
