I don't think he needs to. Maidana and Hatton are very dirty, aggressive fighters whose only chance to win was if they could get inside and work. Best way to deal with fighters like that is use your feet, stay on the outside and wrap them up. Hatton especially with that holding and hitting bull**** he always tries to pull. He moved more against Maidana 2, Hatton and even Guerrero because they can't deal with movement.

Pac is not an inside fighter so I really see no reason for Floyd to move and grab as much as he did in those fights. With Pac, the fighters who have had the most success have backed him up or caught him coming in. I expect to see Floyd mix it up and do a little bit of everything. Keep Manny at distance at the tip of his jab and his straight, smother him and wrestle inside, time him on his way in.

lol. But what's funny about that is Broner's best work was in the mid-rounds when he was walking Maidana down. He got beaten up early in the fight moving away.

I think manny vs khan would have been better. Khan can be pulled into a firefight. Floyd is no action hero

Yep, locking Pacquiao's right arm whilst working the short right uppercut to the body. I expect Mayweather to throw a lot of lead right hands then quickly leaning into Pacquiao, avoiding the counters.

I agree on this point....I am a Pac fan that says outright, I think Floyd will decision him so we will probably never see Pac/Khan, at least not for awhile...Floyd wins, he has to go Khan next unless there is something outrageous, ala Pac/Bradley and we see a rematch...Predicting Floyd goes out with the zero but still no way in hell he is the best ever...

I see a few guys saying they think Floyd will walk Manny down easily. I feel it is unlikely, it could happen of course coz this is an incredible match up and there are various outcomes, but it isn't too high on the list of things I can picture happening to be honest.

It isn't impossible, but I just cant see Floyd shelling up and pressing forward vs Manny. Manny chews people up that come too him, like Hatton, and tees off on people that shell up, like Clottey. I know Floyd isn't any of those guys and is better than them by miles, but stylistically you see what I am saying.

This also doesn't mean I believe Floyd will run, before any fanboys jump to that conclusion. Like I said, I believe this fight is too close to be sure about certain outcomes, but I find it harder to picture Floyd doing much of any walking down, maybe at certain moments, but not all night, because he will probably pay for it many of the times he tries it, if he even does...

Lets say hypothetically speaking that Floyd is to win, well if anything I can most conceivably picture Floyd trying to pick Manny off as he comes in, and when/IF Manny becomes a little gun shy, then he may become more of an agressor. But not walking him down; even a gun shy Manny Pacquiao isn't somebody to walk up too thinking he wont lash out at you if he has too. If Floyd manages to cease Manny's attacks drastically and takes up that high guard and sticks on the ear muffs to walk him down, Manny would lick his lips and tee off because Floyd would no longer represent an elusive target, he would represent somebody basically saying 'I am not making you miss and pay anymore, I am coming towards you now', and that is what Manny would obviously prefer. And for all the ego and bravado, Floyd is not ****** in that ring, he knows Manny prefers a guy to be right there. Especially if Floyd gets him desperate.

But like I said, it is all hypothetical and opinion now and we will not know until May 2nd. Some guys really need to look at it with a level head rather than inflating their favourite due to fanboyism...Manny is not an unstoppable force, Floyd is not an immovable object...

"TBE" is Floyd's version of Ali's "I'm the greatest of all-time". You have to say it to be considered.

Shelling up and being defensively responsible while looking for opening are different.

He can say it all he wants...too late for him to be considered best ever.
