There should be a rule named after mayweather. Just like the Calvin Johnson rule in football controversy lol the floyd mayweather rule is to only allow one clinch per round or else dock points lol This is a must so that never again do we end up with a fighter who will runaway with 200 million dollars and stink up the joint. No fighter should deserve a single cent for such a cowardice act of boxing.

    Boxing should evolve from this.

Pacquiao did what supposedly a great boxer does while Floyd did what supposedly a survival mode fighter does. The one he knows he can't compete with and had to rely on holding and hugging to veer away from getting taken to school. Never again shall we be fooled.

Floyd mayweather is a bum fighter.. he uses all his dirty tactics to win the fight but he still lost in the eyes of the majority of fans. What floyd did against pacquiao is not boxing and defense..running, clinching, hugging, tugging belongs to the other sports.. to compensate for lack of skill. NEVER AGAIN.
Why do you continue to say this? with absolutely nothing to back up that claim the majority of people on this thread alone think you rode the short bus to school. Just take a look at the press row scores! Where in the world can you find a significant majority group of people who feel that Pacquiao won... forget "feel" because they can say he won and not really "feel" that way. Show me where this is a group on this planet earth (where most of us are from but I'm starting to suspect you aren't) that there is a majority of people willing to eve say in public they thought Pacquiao won the fight...

I'll make it short. No glory was given, means truly that, no glory to the sportsman.

Hence, the resounding boos after Floyd was announced the winner.

Floyd didn't deserve a Single cent of that 200 million dollars nor the win.

The world saw a vagina fighting that night. And the world booed with me.

You threw in for good measure links saying that it was severe enough that he had surgery. I think it should be clear now that no surgery took place between the two Castillo fights.

So let me ask you this.

Logically, can you see why Floyd might be defended being that it's clear the shoulder was bothering him based on conversations and actions during the Castillo fight, and Pac is ridiculed because he and his team showed no sign that the injury affected him during the fight, yet it is apparent that it was much more severe than Mayweather's injury because of the need for immediate surgery?
Floyd also said during the Maidana fight "I'm blind. I can't see"
Floyd also was crying to Kenny Bayless about a bite thru the gloves.

In both cases, it was a temporary thing and Floyd was able to continue after what he said. So in all cases Floyd , not a medical professional, says something and that is enough for you as a prognosis about what exactly? If you asked Castillo, do you think he would say that it was obvious that Floyd was hurt? NO!

but Manny had much more than that yet you still question? Manny saw a doctor BEFORE the fight. Had a prescription. Told USADA and the commissions also knew about the shoulder BEFORE the fight.

            Manny had surgery:

"We have an MRI scan that confirms he has a rotator cuff tear. He has a significant tear," Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Neal El Attrache told ESPN.com. "If all goes as expected with the surgery and the rehab is successful, Manny could be back training in about six months. At that point, he will be regaining strength and endurance, and competition is reasonable within nine months to a year. But this is a severe enough tear that it won't heal without being repaired." The surgery, which lasted 90 minutes, was performed by Dr. ElAttrache four days after the fight."

Yup. If one carefully looks at the fight, Floyd is blatantly fouling at will.

Kenny Bayless did just like I thought he would .... nothing but separate the hug fest initiated by Floyd.

This is also incorrect. Here are the facts, already presented on this website.

Bob Bennett, executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, says the entire situation with Manny Pacquiao's right shoulder injury is "unacceptable." We interviewed the physicians representing Manny, and they advised us his health and safety would not be at risk if he fought without the injection."
An HBO spokesman also told the paper - "Nobody informed us of any shoulder injury to Manny Pacquiao during his training camp."
Aguilar says the commission first became aware of the injury about 90 minutes before the fight, when Pacquiao's camp made a request for the boxer to get an anti-inflammatory shot on his shoulder, which the NSAC denied because they had no knowledge or confirmation of an actual injury.
Travis Tygart, the CEO of USADA, told the New York Daily News that Pacquiao’s camp let the boxer down failing to disclose his shoulder injury. While his organization approved the medications, he says USADA was never advised that Pacquiao was using them to treat a shoulder injury. "We had no medical information, no MRIs, no documents," said Travis Tygart, who heads USADA.
