I don't see how this ticket fiasco will effect PPV buys. If anything, it might increase a little as people cancel their plans and order the fight from home.
nothing is confirmed but supposedly tickets will be released, last I heard was 500-1000 tickets
it will turn people off is what i was getting too. i was exicted when the fight got announced then it kinda died down after all this that has been going on. so lets see if it comes back during fight week.
the people that were planning on going are mostly high rollers. these people will not sit at home and watch the fight. if their not going they'll prolly be somewhere else doing other things.
The ticket debacle is of little consequence. This fight sold out within 15 minutes of being announced. All that remains is for the contract to be signed, so that the astronomically priced tickets can actually be distributed to the rich people who paid for them. I'd be interested to hear of any NSB posters who actually bought tickets to this fight, and where they'll be seated (probably on the roof of the MGM).

I agree with this 100%.
Hell, we're at Wednesday the week before the fight. I'm geeked. I have tunnel vision.

I thought they hadnt been released to the public yet? How can it have sold out in 15 mins?
This whole thing has been fishy from the very start.
King Santa doesn't even have a set opponent yet.
Things have been fishy...From Pac's stealth training camp to the ticket fiasco... Watch some freak event happen and they reschedule to September or something...

Rumours are that he will be fighting Anthony Settoul.
Nope, me neither.
A quick boxrec check on him shows he's French (never fought outside France), lost by KO1 to a guy who was 8-9-2, and is 1-1 in his last two fights (win coming against 14-35-2 Ignac Kassai).
Good to see LSC stepping after his last few opponents
Edit: Even better is that Settoul was fighting at bantamweight only 1 fight ago. So they cant even claim they picked a bum to get him acclimatized to 126.
