Being sued and losing as Haymon did, does mean you're a **** businessmen.

I'd pay Arum 25% if he's giving me 5 million to fight Manny instead of Haymon paying 1.5 million and taking 10% to face Floyd. If Arum offers a much better service compared to Haymon (Money) then I'll gladly pay a higher price. Use some logic man.

Do you need me to find posts where you said 2014 was crap, and now you're saying it was a good year? It wasn't. I'm not criticizing Cotto's next opponent yet because he doesn't have one, everyone else I've b*tched about does. And if it's the opponent that doesn't suck, the circumstances of the fight happening do suck.

What is GGG doing that Haymon is? GGG fought 3 or 4 times last year, and 4 times the year before that. Danny, Broner and the rest of the Haymon crew fight once or maybe twice a year. GGG has skill and is fighting guys ranked top 5 in his division, 3 fights in a row now. When was the last time any Haymon fighter did that? I'll keep grilling you but I'll wait for another lame ass response like "Haymon doesn't charge as much." When you pay cheap prices, you get cheap product.

As for top 5 ranking-its not the opponents ranking but the chance he has to win. GGG hasn't fought anyone with a chance to win. That is exactly what you are complaining about with Haymon fighters.

You are also overstating things. Broner lost and Danny had tough fights with matts and Herrera, that's in part why they didn't fight more. Look at their last 3 fights

GGG-adama, gaele, Rubio

Now, which one had the easiest fights, despite the division rankings of their opponents? Remember dude, rankings are relative. The #3 ww or #FW is far better than the #3 HW or #3 LW.

Haymon knows things I don't, I have to admit that. There are people that have no problem with 2 guys in the same weight class, both with titles, fighting not at JWW where they are champions, but at WW where neither one of them are.

The weight has nothing to do with it except for the titles not being on the line. People are ****ting all over Cotto/Bradley for the MW title, if that were to happen and rightfully so. If they fought at 150 for no belt, I would agree with your Danny/Lamont comment.

The difference is Cotto and Bradley aren't in the same weightclass. They both aren't champions and they both aren't fighting to NOT lose their titles. They're fighting for literally no reason at all except that if they lose, they still really didn't lose anything.

bradley cotto is a mismatch in weight and in general a sub par fight whatever weight they are at... garcia peterson is a a relatively good fight, he already faced lucas hasnt yet faced peterson. both will probably move up to 147 anyways

It's hilarious how Al Haymon has managed to get everybody's expectations so low that we're supposed to be excited about Stevenson vs Bika and Dirrell vs Badou Jack LOL.

Anything better than Garcia vs Salka is something to get excited for apparently, I gotta give it to Haymon hes a smart guy lmao.

I'll take this post that has nothing to do with Haymon on CBS as proof that you have nothing to argue about. GGG is in easy fights because he's good, not because he's being put in there soft lmao. Danny was in a tough fight against Herrera... it wasn't supposed to be, remember? I'm not sure why you brought up the Mattyse fight, that was 3 years ago. I was a big Danny fan when he put Khan on his ass, instant fan. It was all for naught when you fight Salka, he lost all credibility.

Also stop doing what? Owning on what the thread is about and not changing the subject like you did? You have nothing to dispute about the topic because even if Arum takes 25% he pays 3-5 times what Haymon does so you still make more money with Top Rank than you do with Haymon.

As for GGG and who he is fighting, why should I **** on anything he's done. He's gradually fought better and better competition, Danny's has gone down and he never lost so I'm still trying to figure out what you're made at GGG about now? GGG isn't holding the MW hostage while fighting at SMW... Danny is. Should I keep going?

Haymon is really putting HBO and non-afiliated promoters on an island. I don't understand why the other side isn't being more proactive...putting boxing on TNT for example would be something top rank- golden boy - k2 - main events could collaborate on...otherwise (if Haymon is able to get a couple big tv deals that he doesn't have to pay for) its only a matter of time before the are irrelevant in the United States, at least.

Top Rank certainly has a good enough stable of prospects to do something similar although at a smaller scale. Guys like Jessie Magdaleno, Felix Verdejo, and Jose Ramirez are already bigger draws than most Haymon fighters. But instead they choose to sit them and their HBO stars out until the 2nd quarter of 2015 and allow the Haymon hype machine to take over,drown them out, and make them look like an irrelevant entity.
