WAR both!! I respect both equally, two of the few real men this sport has left. No running or sissy cowardly "boxing" crap.

This is a man's fight right here. I'm ready for a bloodbath. Extreme violence and aggression, just a psychotic back and forth war all bloodied and beaten up until one of them can no longer continue. Until one can no longer crawl in an attempt to get up.

I have no idea what the outcome will be and that's what I love. I feel Matthysse is better in almost every aspect except chin, which could be a huge problem with Ruslan.

imo provo has better handspeed, he also has an uncanny ability to change the trajectory of his punches after being thrown, he did this to Bradley a lot when bradley tried to duck down, he still managed to land right on the chin, dude has really good handspeed and is much more explosive

lucas punches are slower but are much more devastating

This fight will probably shorten the career from both fighters, hopefully they get paid well and alot of fans will tune in. I have Matthysse winning this fight in rounds 8-9 by TKO (doc will not let Provo continue), Matthysse might get knocked down in the early rounds but will get stronger in the middle rounds.

This is what the fight boils down to. Will Provo's face first style coupled with Lucas's sick power be the key to the fight, or will Lucas's shaky chin crack first under Provo's relentlessness.

Khan has a shaky chin, boxers that get stopped often or are stunned and left on shaky legs often have a shaky chin. Lucas Matthysse does not have a shaky chin.

Obviously Pac is an ATG but I think the way Pac so easily dismantled him shows he's not really that good anyways and Provo couldnt do shot against him with one eye. Provo is dangers for 2-3 rds. Then his defense, power, and ability to cut off the ring go down the drain. Matthysse is a slow starter, but he generally keeps his range early on.

I just simply dont see how someone with as poor as defense as Provo can beat a guy with the power that Matthysse has. Molina had a serious size and reach advantage and used that before he got broke down. provo doesnt have that. He can only do work in close.

Yes, that's the way I see it. Provodnikov has power and that's always a fact that cant be ignored, but then again he's not a harder puncher and he's clearly not a better boxer. Anything can happen in boxing and all, but having said that, I'd go with Matthysse with a pretty good margin. I'd say 60-40 maybe even 70-30 given what Provodnikov has been showing so far.
