This is what the fight boils down to. Will Provo's face first style coupled with Lucas's sick power be the key to the fight, or will Lucas's shaky chin crack first under Provo's relentlessness.

This is the same Provodnikov that couldnt stop or drop DeMarcus Corley, and at times had to run from him? The same DeMarcus Corley that got beaten into retirement by Matthysse just a few months before such fight.
I just finished watching both fights, Corley vs Matthysse in January 2011 and Corley vs Provodnikov on December of that same year. Matthysse dropped Corley 7 times and the fight was mercifully stopped in round 8. Commentators agreed it should have been stopped earlier. 11 months later the shot to bits DeMarcus Corley is giving hell to Provodnikov, who wins a UD but still close fight, with his face looking like crap.

Has Lucas' chin declined though? I know the Molina knocked down was overhyped because it was a flash temple near the back of the head punch.

Plus lets be honest, Provo can crack and Matthysse seems to have vulnerability in that eye (been swelled badly before the Garcia fight) then again I think Lucas has elite stamina (much better than Provos) is a bigger puncher and better defence.

One thing for certain this is gonna be a fan friendly fight and someone is getting KO'd

I don't think Matthysse was badly hurt by either k/d but from memory I do think he was hurt by one of the punches which followed from Molina.
