Who will you be rooting for: Wladimir Klitschko or Bryant Jennings?

I hope Klitschko wins by knockout relatively early so people can see that the only opponents worth for Klitschko to fight are Wilder and Fury.

obviously wlad isn't going to trash the fight by saying Jennings is a no hoper that he'll kayo with ease. he always talk up his opponents in hopes of getting more a$$ in the seats. I agree that Jennings isn't a good opponent but he seems eager to take on wilder for unification and has always faced his mandatories so I doubt very much he'll duck fury. granted,,,if he takes on a soft touch in his next fight instead of fury or wilder I'll jump on your bandwagon but so far I see wlad taking on the best available with the occasional easier fights in between that most other long reigning champs have done in the past

Well....Its not so much Vlad talking up his comp, its the media shamelessly looking for any type of angle. Lennox Lewis often turned down fights, icluding mandatories when they were patently ridiculous. For example, Ruiz and Byrd. Lewis would agree to let up and commers have a try if earned...although I will say that the media did talk guys like Grant up. There are a host of guys who have now been around a while and deserve a crack, Haye, Wilder, Stiverne and especially Fury. There should be a bout made because thats what champs do. Jennings has not beat any of these top guys. There is a pattern of fighting guys who are light punchers for the last bouts Vlad has agreed to. None of these guys have the reach, the power, or the skills to cause him problems.

I am not so sure Vlad can avoid the top prospects much longer...it will be intersting to see if he takes a decent bout. I tend to think his back is against the wall here but, fair is fair. If he accepts a bout with Wilder of Fury I will give him credit for doing so.

Lennox Lewis took many a fight against opponents who were not at his level. When your the A grade HW, nobody really is at your level. Ruiz and Byrd were champion boxers, yet it's ok for the full veteran Lewis to fight Mavrovic right?

Further, Wlad has already cleaned out the best top opponents Povetkin, Pulev and Haye. Stiverne went down already and Jennings has already beaten another top opponent in Perez.

Fury and Wilder are the 2 last guys after Jennings who nobody has defeated that Wlad hasn't yet high enough up the list.

Thing is, Wladimir has been actively pursuing them already! I think you'll find it'll be Wilder who would want to duck if anything!
