    Cottos ppv number: 350k

    are we missing something here?
Yes. Pac made 23 million for that fight cotto made 8. They had it in China because macau paid bob arum 10 million just to have it there. Just to stage the fight in macau they got 10 million. So just you can't just compare ppv buys; you have to compare purses.

floyd made 32 million in a fight that LOST money (so hes not worth that much)
Pac made 23 million in a fight that MADE money

so 60/40 is more than reasonable.

Stop already you have never been part of negotiations.
you should also shut your mouth because you've never been part of the negotiation.

Mayweather: "Pacquiao has terrible PPV numbers" But won't release his own PPV numbers for his last fight ROFL... I really cracked up when I heard Floyd bring up PPV numbers...

This fight is happening at least 3 years too late... and Floyd is still acting like Pac is a low-level opponent with horrible PPV numbers... so I don't see, based on Floyd's comments, why he's even "negotiating" the fight...

Floyd saying Pac has horrible PPV numbers is basically saying that Pac isn't a worthy opponent and Floyd doesn't need him... so let's end the negotiations and move on.. I'm sure Floyd can make the same money fighting any other opponent as he can Pac (because other opponents go on the Today show and are asked about fighting Floyd too)...
Lol (last us fight) why does the location of the fight matter. Not like the ppv was early saturday afternoon.

You know a ton of these "boxing fans" are going to be done with the sport when both men retire. It's inevitable. Once they don't have the daily argument about these men they'll wander on other to another sport and pick a side in a rivalry there. This rivalry has been great for compulsive arguers.

TV Networks have released the PPV numbers for every Floyd event he's ever been involved in EXCEPT Maidana 2... hmmm....

Do you think they were very good number or very embarrassing numbers? Why would Floyd not want those official numbers to be released? Any ideas FIomos?

Floyd and FIomos: "Pac has horrible PPV numbers"

              Floyd: "WE're negotating doughhhhhhhh"

Why, you just said he has horrible PPV numbers... why would you negotiate with him...

LOL no one of those softball interviewers had the common sense to ask Floyd that follow up question...

This fight is taking place at least 3 years too late and Floyd is being annoying in the negotiations, which means he's trying to make the fight completely unfair for Manny... I lost interest in this fight... I hope the Super Bowl is the deadline for Floyd... Manny doesn't need Floyd for his legacy..he's already 3X fighter of the year, Fighter of the Decade, 8 division champ..his accomplishments ***** Floyd's by a landslide..

I love Ali and I thought he was the greatest until I got a little older and did research and fighters and fights from the beginning and learned that the greatest fighter ever was none other than Sugar Ray Robinson.
Robinson fought everybody. He could outbox boxers, outpunch punchers and out brawl brawlers. There will never be another boxer/fighter with his skills.
Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis, Kid Gavilan, Sugar Ray Leonard, Thomas Hearns, Alexis Arguello, Felix Trinidad, Oscar De LaHoya, Terry Norris, Donald Curry, Milton Mccory, Henry Armstrong, Fritzie Zivic, Emmanuel Stewart, Marvin Hagler, Willie Pep and so many other boxers and hall of famers agree with me.

Floyd is all about money hence, TMT. The most sensible fight is Manny. Let's all face it, he won't make the same money fighting anybody out there but Manny and vice versa. 100% of boxing fans wants to see Manny vs Floyd. It will be the fight of the century!

You're missing the point that Manny was with Arum in 2009....so why is Arum the sticking point for negotiations now?

Floyd claims Pacman has Marquez problems but there are lots of boxers Floyd faced who had losses like Maidana. My point is Floyd is a hypocrite and his contract offers are a joke because he's so wishy washy. He sets up more and more roadblocks once the previous ones are agreed upon from Mannys camp giving me the indication he doesn't want the fight. Being that he is the A side....if he really wanted the fight it would have happened by now. It doesn't take 5-6 years getting a fight together when you're the a side.
