      On his conditioning:

Wladimir's gas problems were a result more of him trying to **** out opponents early and fighting at a pace perhaps un-appropriate for such a tall, heavy and muscular guy. This had more to do with it than his conditioning. He was always in excellent condition.

      Another fallacy:

Sometimes haters swallow the losses business and everything but THEN go on to make the equally ridiculous claim that he has been knocked 12 times as if this were the worse thing ever. 12 times in 66 superheavyweight fights isn't so bad in itself anyway but when you analyse that MOST of these KD's occurred after he GOT UP from previous KD's, you are actually penalising him for making it up and attempting to continue rather than staying down and being sparked out. Wladimir has always finished a fight on his feet! Fact!

Let's not forget, no excuse, but remember the Sanders incidence involved the headbutt+fist sandwich. It's obvious he never recovered from that at all and all that happened after, he was already done.

He hasn't been down in TEN years, during which time he fought the best in his division (Povetkin, Peter, Haye, etc). Heavyweight is known for hard punchers.

What other active heavyweight hasn't been down in the past ten years?

I'd say he has a solid chin.

Doesn't get hit often, so pretty good.

Ten years, it's been that long!

            And all those big punchers...

            Not down once...

            That's the clincher.

Sounds like a case of sour g****s for haters...

Same can be said about David Price.

                  He is that indeed.

****s and giggles aside, his chin is good enough that he's still here, but it's bad enough that becoming a risk aversive safety first spoiler was the only way he could achieve that.
