Giving Floyd a deadline is basically saying you don't want to fight

if Floyd gave Manny a deadline this would be however many pages of "who does that coward think he is to give Manny deadlines?" and "fraud gaybeater is ducking because he has no right to dictate deadrines to blave hero Manny!"

Whats with the LOL? Naturally a Pac/May fight would take a lot more time for promotion and preparation as opposed to Pac vs anyone else in the month of April if that month is chosen as the result of a Mayweather fight not happening..

Arum is already setting up the public to believe that they will need more time to properly promote the fight, and will push towards a date in June, so he can have his way and stay away from the May 2nd date. I have heard him say they need a minimum of 6 months to promote a big fight, build a new stadium, Manny needs 7 months for a cut to heal, etc, etc, etc. End of Jan leaves less than 4 months.

The Lol is at Arum for attempting to convince the public they are forced to walk away from negotiations ....again. Do you actually think Floyd vs Pac will fail if not advertised properly? Like it hasn't been already? People would quit their jobs and fly to where ever to see the fight on 2 weeks notice.

Trust me, Arum will do his best to stall negotiations as long as possible. He cares about nothing other than his own greedy ass. Without him it would have been done years ago.

The Super Bowl is on Feb 1st, as other have suggested it could very well be the platform for the official announcement. How many countries does it broadcast in? It's one of most watched sporting events in the world. And now this end of month deadline to add drama, so when on Feb 1st it seems like the fight is dead and hanging in the balance...BOOM! Half Time announcement at the Super Bowl. Maybe even a live appearance from one or the pair.

Super Bowl is on NBC this year, not CBS. One network has exclusive broadcast every year in the states.

Those sources are from what they are being told from Arum. A person as pigheaded and arrogant as Floyd a deadline isn't going to get him to move faster. As far a promotion they can make the fight for next week and it will still be the biggest fight in history. They just need to announce the fight anything after that is extra.

Why is Pac in a rush to fight anyone else?

If they feel like the negotiations arent going anywhere and they are being played, then sure move on. But whats the deadline for when you are in the process of negotiating everything? As it is, wouldnt you rather they take whatever time they need to come to an agreement?

Lets not pretend that Pac has anyone to move on to.
