So cotto is all of a sudden a grand master technician and canelo is a slow plodding brawler with no hand speed. Ok. Both dudes at some point will exchange and vicious punches will be landed. We shall see who will come up on top

Canelo is a slow plodder with no hand speed wtf... that's the definition of Canelo. Did you not watch the Lara and Floyd fights? Or... a better explanation would be, did you not see Canelo against the two best fighters he's faced? In 24 rounds, he won maybe 6.

That was after he got hit in the head by Cotto, you'll be saying the same thing against Canelo. "I picked him to win but in the middle of the fight I know I made the wrong pick so I flipped flop so I could be right." The same people who picked Martinez because he was bigger, faster, more athletic, better boxer...

How is Canelo supposed to win. Martinez arguably could have been better than Cotto at those things. Canelo arguably might have more power than Cotto and that's it, that's his only advantage. Speed goes to Cotto, footwork? Cotto. Ring IQ? Cotto. Ring generalship? Cotto. Stamina? Even. Corner? Cotto.

What exactly is Canelo going to do throw some basic combinations? Cotto has better timing, he has more experience... There is nothing Canelo can do to win this fight unless it's a KO and the only guy he's KO'd in at JMW is a shot to **** Angulo and that was a terrible stoppage and before that he last KO at JMW was against JWW in Josesito Lopez. Hopefully you guys get over the Canelo loss hangover much sooner than the Martinez one because at least Sergio was a good fighter. Not a hype-job who's never had a clean win over good fighter in his entire career.

The only way for Cotto to win is to back Canelo up.

But that won't happen because he's the smaller man.

Even if, by some miracle, he'll do that, Canelo is a great counter puncher.

To beat Canelo, and I mean beat, not pot shot him (Floyd) , you have to be the bigger, more powerful man in the ring.

When has Canelo been a ring general? Do you know what that means? Do you know anything about boxing? Against Floyd and Lara, Canelo was NEVER in charge of where he was standing in that fight. That's step 1 is position in the ring and Cotto will always have Canelo in position to get away/set up an attack because Canelo has no concept of it.

And you're using the "He's a WW" excuse? So was Floyd, and he clowned Canelo. Floyd's power kept Canelo from doing anything in there, you don't think Cotto's will? Also, Canelo can't take a WW's punch especially a left hook by a Cotto because he was doing the stanky leg from Cotto's subpar brother. You really don't know **** about boxing your opinion on any fight, not just this one is irrelevant.
