sounds like this rigo is in a catch22. i agree no one wants to face him but it is rigo and his team's responsibility to perform and make moves to make it so big names cannot avoid him.
the general consensus is he is boring, bring no money, and is too high risk/low reward. he can sell out his outboxing and do brawling and that will make him more exciting but can he really do that at his age and would that affect his godlike boxing to be a more basic slugger.
the way i see rigo is a winning mindset in every aspect of boxing. ideal weight class, win with his best assets even at the cost of entertainment, etc. While he does put himself in position to win every boxing match, he loses in the entertainment aspect. He does not have a style to cater to both so he will have to choose one.
example - mayweather has a winning boxing style and an entertaining outside ring persona. pacquiao has an entertaining boxing style that wins.

He is the best irrelevant fighter in the world, hardly anyone cares to see him because his style is not pleasing, he has no fanbase, and is no attraction. I personally don't care what he does as long as he is facing ranked fighters willing to get in the ring with him.

lomo, walters, and gradovich are with top rank and bob arum is not going to deal with rigo again. santa cruz is with haymon and he already ducked. mares is with haymon too and he's being pushed toward santa cruz. don't believe i've heard jhonny gonzalez challeng rigo. has he? some of yall act like he will magically get big fights if he moves up. won't happen.
he's in a terrible position. top rank didn't want him. the networks don't want him. no fighter wants to face him. he's too good for his own good.

He did to Agbeko what Pacquiao did to Rios, yet he is boring?. And that was probably his least entertaining fight.
He gave Donaire a solid beating, by round 12 it was Donaire doing the running.
His latest fight was against an inferior opponent, pretty much like Pac vs Algieri. Pac went full 12, Rigo got rid of his man in the first round.
This bs about Rigo being boring came out after the Donaire fight because of Arum. If people watched fights instead of believing whatever a promoter said things would look much different.
As for his persona outside of the ring, who the hell cares?. Is it boxing or WWE?.
And moving up? If so Canelo should be fighting at MW, not at 155. By the same logic GGG should also move up to SMW because Cotto won't fight him , Kovalev should move to Cruiserweight because Stevenson is with Showtime ... and so forth.
