It's really a loose loose for Floyd. Manny will become old and washed up the minute the contract is signed.

All of what Diaz has said is true except for the fact that Bob Arum has publicly declared that the fight cannot be set for May 2nd, a date which Mayweather has determined to be a critical contractual factor in making the Pacquiao fight. That Arum has denied Floyd the May 2nd date and yet gifted it to Canelo Alvarez, tells me that Arum doesn't care to have Pacquiao fight Mayweather (just as in the past Arum prevented the fight by insisting that a specially constructed grandstand was necessary for any Pacquiao-Mayweather fight to be signed).

The next person who talks about Floyd hand picking his opponent should taste test the business end of a sawed off Mossberg and put themselves out of they misery. Everybody wanted him to fight maidana before the 1st fight when it was between Kahn or maidana. Floyd put up a poll that amir won, but since folks b1tched so hard he disregarded the poll and fought maidana anyway. His last 4 fights have been exactly the opponent that y'all picked. Some of yall need to stop acting like y'all signed up on boxing scene yesterday when y'all's a $$ been around for at least his last 6 fights.

FLoyds credibility left the building a while back, especially when he made Maidana look like a A+ fighter.
If he fights and beat Pac it wont have as much credibility as if he beat Pac before JMM ko'ed him. Floyd always dithers so much and waits for people to beat them, if Floyd just took the risk when Pac was firing on all cylinders.
Its still a risky fight for Floyd, but its no thanks to Floyd. Pac is still very good and its down to Pac clawing his way back from a loss. But no matter how good Pac still is, he lost to JMM and that will take away from Floyds win.
Even if Pac is Floyds best ever win, which it would be.
