    Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya is still not convinced that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is going to face Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd.

    During Monday's WBC convention dinner, where De La Hoya and Mayweather were both present, Floyd told reporters that he wasn't interested in facing Amir Khan in his next fight and continued to call for a fight with Pacquiao.

          I honestly only think mayweather started talking trash to save face, if he didn't say anything with all the trash manny's team has been doing he would look really ******. I feel like he is still giving himself outs. Just listen to the interview more closely.

          "you are not gonna get the same money as last time" implying that 40 million is too much now, which is insane because 40 million is still too low

          "There is only one person blocking it and thats arum" well guess what, arum is still there, gonna have to deal with that.

          "It must be on showtime!" Showtime already said they are willing to work with hbo, why is it only being on showtime such a big deal.


          He has already given himself three outs already in one interview where he acts like he wants it. Showtime Exclusivity, Money, Arum, and who the hell knows what other crazy demands he has cooking up. He is probably going to bring up gloves soon, or the ring size, or the ref, ect... I want this fight to happen and I want to believe him but something is telling me we are in the same boat as 2009-2010, where he acts like he wants but doesn't really mean it.

              That's what I see as well. Floyd has never wanted this fight and still doesn't. He will come up with new roadblocks and make ridiculous demands to prevent this fight, but he'll say he "tried".

              Offering Pac $20m flat and he'll say he "tried".

                    Floyd mite come up with these so called roadblocks....but wen the fight is actually close to being signed ...ITS ARUM, ARUM,ARUM, ARUM.............BOB fcking ARUM.

                    Yall trying to compare BS Floyd says when the fight isnt in serious talks to the Stuff Bob Arum says when the fight is close to being signed.......

                    Not saying Floyd isnt the cause....But Arum is Worst.....Everytime the fight was closed it fell apart cuz of Arum...Then he turns around and Blames Floyd and the media/fans eat it up
