God no. I'm not watching that whole fight. I don't need to hear Paulie talking about range anymore tonight, or giving excuses to why a power puncher isn't getting the job done against an overmatched foe.

Guess Thurman wanted to get some rounds in...

Birmingham said in the corner your showing them your boxing skills or something of that nature...

I think Keith looked fine...it just wasn't fireworks and bombs dropping everywhere like we're used to seeing...lol

Still rather watch Keith than those Charlo brothers...

keith thurman can and does get countered, he starts off his fights and lands some good shots and some good combos but even the ok fighters figure out his timingm gets countered and that's when he begins to just move, he isn't all that people, he's a good fighter but he's like porter, once someone figures him out he looks very one dimensional

Thurman took some hard shots by a guy who's been knocking dudes out lately and was never wobbled so how can you STILL think he's chinny?
Bundu doesn't have a big KO punch, what he does best is work the body and wear you down.

Thurman controlled range and moved well, a good performance against a guy who isn't world level, but is durable and certainly not a "bum".

The booing was undeserved in my opinion, but as I said in another thread British fans grew fond of Bundu after he won the European title in England (or so I heard).

If I had to criticize Thurman it'd be for his lack of inside game, he was younger, bigger and fresher yet did not look comfortable in the pocket.

But lately, he's been stopping his opponents so even though he doesn't have a big KO punch, he does have enough power to put some guys out.

Thurman said in the post fight interview that they kept bumping heads when they got close so that's why he didn't stay in the pocket.

Maybe because you don't know who Bundu is? I mean, he's never lost and had only been down once in almost 10 years and you say he's an "overmatched foe"? That just how greatly underestimated he is. Those who did know anything about Bundu knew he would be a solid opponent for Thurman so it shouldn't have been a surprise he probably was going to go the full 12 rounds.

Bundu is just tougher than people thought and no doubt in my mind he'd probably give guys like Porter or Brook even tougher fights.

A power puncher didn't get a ko and now he's a bum. He 12-0 the guy this site is ******ed.

Thurman looked pedestrian to me. He needs to fight better opponents that will light a fire and bring the best out of him.
