Wtf does that even mean? It was his comeback fight yet it barely got any buzz. If you want to play that angle look at Marquez/Ramos/Fedchenko. It sold out on the quickness and it had a large amount of views, more than anything Khan has yet to generate

He did a come back fight against McCloskey in Manchester, which is his hometown area and had 16,000 people.

Diaz fight was a waste of time, non title bout and to make it worse he tried desperately to stick it to Brook by fighting in his city of Sheffield. It doesn't reflect on Khan as a whole.

That was in 2011, having just about survived Maidana – the highest profile fight of his career at that point. At the same time Sky dropped Khan due to his declining popularity.

You're very entertaining. Please, tell us more about all of the massive sell out events that Khan's had recently... or, errr.... ever? Quite the megastar isn't he?

During an interview last month, Roach claimed that his main fighter, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, had scored several knockdowns against Khan in their past sparring sessions.

Omg no one wants to see Khan Mayweather. Sadly it's going to happen because that is what Floyd wants.

The BBC interviewed people leaving after the show, many declared they were casual fans and had never been to a boxing match before. Massive, quantifiable, cross over appeal to the general public.

Khan's fighting tomorrow in Vegas to half empty house and the MGM can't even hold 17,000 people. I can still buy multiple tickets sitting together at any of the advertised prices including the cheap seats that often sell first. People aren't exactly killing each other to watch Khan fight, and beyond the boxing fraternity nobody gives a **** about Khan.

ODLH tries to make out Khan is some kind of megastar and casual fans such as yourself are mindlessly repeating the message.

The numbers don't back your argument, so continuing to argue the point is just embarrassing.
You always popping up on Khan threads to trash him is also quite embarrassing, but you are entitled to your opinion.

Khan-Brook would be an all British fight and would easily replicate or at least come quite close to doing what Froch-Groves did at Wembley. Do you hear Team Brook say any other arena besides Wembley? Since, day 1 he won the belt it's been "Wembley, Wembley".

The reason why Khan is built up for Mayweather is not because of how many people will fill up the arena, which they will mostly for Mayweather, but the PPV sales from U.K, whether they want to see Khan get KOed or win the fact is they will buy.

Froch had been fighting World title bouts in U.K. on a consistent basis and has a lot of momentum, Khan can easily do the same if he were fight in U.K. regularly. Khan is the same guy who had 20,000 people against an over the hill Barrera for a learning fight. He can certain re-capture the momentum he has lost due to his absence.

There is a reason why Mayweather put Khan on his undercard and he got paid the same as Maidana.

No, but it could be next to your council house in Manchester.

Diaz fight was a tune up, no-title, nothing to intrigue the general public. It still had 10,000 people at hand, not bad after a 2 year absence.

Now as for the free tickets for the Khan-Diaz show, really how many were they? 50, 100, 200? Do you have a source as to what was the ratio of purchased to free?

Marquez is obviously a bigger star than Khan. He's been fighting for far longer and has been in with Mayweather and Pacquaio plus I believe those fights were actually in his home town.

What's happened to Khan's army ? I know government cut backs have hit hard but that was pathetic.Where were all his 'fans' from the ballot ? I almost felt sorry for him when he pointed towards a little gathering shouting Amir,Amir, how sad, how could they let him down for his most important night.Had I have known this I would have whipped across the pond to support him myself ....Baaad people !

That was also a World title bout and was in Manchester.

Khan wasn't dropped due to his declining popularity, stop embarrassing yourself with bogus claims. Khan wanted that fight on PPV and Sky on regular broadcast. Why? because that would get more people to watch the fight so, they can build up a PPV bout for the unification with Bradley in summer, which of course Bradley ran away from.

Goes to show how serious I need to take your other claims.

Mega star that got paid the same as Mayweather's opponent.

                    You're very entertaining yourself.

That obviously has a racist under tone to it. Why don't you spit out what you want to really say? Seems like you've been slapped around a few times by Khan's people.

Anyhow, wouldn't gov't cut backs mean you're posting from a public library?
