Since beef is high in protein it contains a high amount of fat as well, it is always best to incorporate hot to warm water to help the body breakdown the fats and to help digest the beef better... cold water will clump the fat making it harder to digest it...
Think of it like this, would you ever clean a greasy pan with cold water? Of course not you would have to use hot water to break down the grease... its the same thing in the human body, hot water helps to break down the fats faster and digest faster as well.
As someone who likes to believe he's semi-knowledgeable about nutrition and the human body, I have never heard of this before. Not saying you're lying lou, but I'm gonna have to see some well researched articles to see if this stuff checks out.

Listen man i had high cholesteral at one time from eating alot of beef, dr told me after eating any type of food, chicken, pastas all that crap i should drink hot water with lemon to help the body break down the fats and all that, faster rather then drinking a cold glass of water..ive seen sum asian people i work with drinking hot water after they eat and these guys are thin and in good shape, but yeah if your skeptical look up the benefits of drinking hot water in general... i noticed a difference.

Doctors aren't nutritionist, nor are they trained to be dieticians. Generally doctors don't have a clue when it comes to foods unless they are a registered dietician sadly.
I've also never heard of this information either and I've got a degree in sport and exercise sciences, which includes nutrition for sporting performance and health/immunology.
