Why is Rigo so overhyped on here?

Loma will be a great fighter, I believe, but he's not yet. The Salido loss will be good in the long haul.

Rigo has far better movement and footwork, his countering is leagues above, he's far better defensively...He's also shown he can do all that against a P4P opponent.

I'll tell you who he beat; Gary Russell Jr - A guy who hasn't fought anybody outside of TBA
Some painfully limited Thai fighter - Less skilled version of that Thai Rigo sparked out in a single round.
And he got bludgeoned by a shopworn, fat, approaching 20 losses, one-paced Salido who was only ever a champion in the first place because everyone had already beat his ass and moved up in weight.
And this kids the truth and Rigondeaux the hypejob?
Lomachenko and his own teams admission; they're not ready for Rigo!
Rigondeaux's team just said they will fight him or Jhonny Gonzalez

He has a lot of talent with a high skill aptitude. Boxing isn't all about checking records and looking at names on a record. There is form and style and adjustments to grade a fighter with and in my opinion he is easily the best out there right now.
To put a final grade on him it would be more definitive to see him under some duress. If he handles everyone and theres a certain talent level with his opposition than theres not much you can say about him. As for him "moving up"! He already has moved up. He is a bantamweight (118) who moved to super bantam (122) at 126 he will give away a lot of body mass and when the feathers rehydrate he will be giving away size and weight.
It's up to him to try and see if his talents can over ride giving up so much body mass and strength. If he wants to earn it looks like he has to make the move!
He is the only boxer that currently adds the label "boxing artist" to his name.
Ray.

I think Rigo is the most entitled diva in the sport of boxing.
Abner Mares was just as small as Rigo, but he decided to bulk up (he's still small though) and dared to be great by moving up to 126. Mixed results so far, but at least he tried.
On the other hand, Rigo can't afford a loss like Mares, so he's in a tough position. One loss and Rigo becomes completely irrelevant.
I would love to see Walters disconnect Rigo's head from his spine though, .
