Never saw anything in him, don't see anything special in Gonzalez. Good for him, he's beating up on garbage fighters.
Gonzalez's resume is very top heavy and he certainly beat some garbage fighters, but his best wins are AAA stuff.

Niida was a long reigning titlist at 105 with wins over some very decent names.

Yaegashi was a two division champ and the consensus best flyweight at the time.

And just because you didn't know who Estrada was when Gonzalez beat him doesn't mean he isn't a great win. He went on to upset Viloria and beat up Giovanni Segura.

Now list the fighters that have three wins of comparable quality. I'm afraid it will be a short list.

Heavies are different, there are no bigger classes so it is a huge array of men that are not really defined. It is like a whole different world of fighting. So why do I have to include them as they operate by different rules really and heavyweight boxing is a lot different from lighter weight class boxing.

If a guy moves into the other world they can be considered but cracking the P4P list at cruiser is not an easy task.

You could view it however you want, I don't include heavies P4P and never will.

You cannot be serious. Good to know that despite all those posts you have made that you are utterly clueless.

Anyway it is great to finally see Gonzalez in the top 10. Ward and Canelo need to be booted and replaced with Golovkin and Kovalev.

          8. Guillermo Rigondeaux

          9. Carl Froch

          10. Saul Alvarez
Why hasn't Andre Ward been removed yet?
Boxrec have took him off, I'd consider their P4P 10 more legit than this one.

That guy in the signature stiffened both of them chumps with a single shot.

            That was beast.

              You're just mad.

Wladimir definitely should be ahead of Pacquiao.

Wladimir Klitschko should also be taking the 1# P4P spot if he wins the WBC belt off of the winner from Stiverne and Wilder.

Until Pac and Mayweather fight each other we can't say all I know is Wladimir fights everyone, maybe it isn't Pacmans fault but it sure as hell is Mayweathers.
It does more respect to boxing as a whole seeing someone on top who fights all challengers who earn it and not picking his way to the top.

I'm still from the school that believes you shouldn't have a heavy on the P4P list.

                  They're the supreme weight.

The system was invented to compare how SRR would fare against heavyweights.

Ward's last win was a year ago against some fighter called Edwin Rodriguez. He shouldn't get to keep his no.2 ranking just because he won the Super Six in 2011. The Chad Dawson win is almost irrelevant now considering that Tommy Karpency might have ended his career. Maybe when he gets a couple more wins he can regain his no.2 spot. But fighting once a year against average opponents isn't going to cut it.

truth is i have eyes, and i can see that he really isn't all that great, the competition is just horrible, the fact that pulev was ranked so highly is a testimony to that. He isn't even beating these guys that impressively. Someone made a comparison to mike tyson, I have yet to see wlad look anywhere near as impressive as mike tyson in the mid 80's against poor competition. Wlad was hurt multible times in his last fight against a slow easy to hit fighter. He isn't that good, top 10 sure, top 5? no
