This shows the difference between a true champion and Walters. Lomachenko is all about fighting the toughest opposition and laying his claim to supremacy in the division; he's a true throwback fighter. He only has a few fights, but his resume is pretty damn impressive already. Walters is obviously going for the easier opposition and avoiding Lomachenko. He won't be able to duck forever. These two are on a crash course and Loma is going to wreck shop!

How is Walters going for weaker competition? He's trying to get a fight with Jhonny Gonzalez. That's not weaker competition.

In my opinion, Lomachenko > Gonzalez. I'm sure Walters knows that too. If these 2 ever meet, I'll gladly take that bet with you.

That's your opinion, and you might be right, but Gonzalez is not weaker opposition. He's a bigger fight, a bigger name, and it means more to beat him right now than it does Lomachenko.

No argument there. My point is that I think Lomachenko is a harder fight for Walters than Gonzalez. Nothing against Gonzalez. Dude has fought some stiff competition, but Lomachenko is a better all around fighter. Speed, skill, power, and a chin. That's my point. They'll end up fighting and we'll see.

No argument there. Lomachenko is definitely high risk-low reward. Even though I do think Lomachenko is a draw due to his recent HBO appearances.
