What were Shane Mosley's weaknesses? I am very confused.

Now retired, Sugar Shane Mosley was one of the best -- maybe the best -- lightweights of all time. What he did to Golden Johnson was amazing. Straight up merked him.

But what do you think Mosley's weaknesses were? And was he a class A fighter?

At 135 he had none. He was the fastest, strongest, most durable, craftiest fighter most people ever watched.

Once he stepped in against Forrest who was a giant...he was speared at the end of punches and it all crumbled

Incredible lightweight but he really fought no one there. But moving up to 147 and beating Oscar decisively was a great win.

That is WAAAAAAAAAAY exaggerated. Mosley was not some perfect machine at lightweight at all.

Mosley one of the best at light weight? Very laughable guy was and is a b- fighter and people could say c+ and I wouldn't argue that

Aesthetically? Can you name 1 guy outside of a Duran who was that much of an outright wrecking ball?

His opposition left much to be desired. So as great as he "looked", it doesn't tell us much.

Mosley never fought anyone that good at lightweight. He had the same flaws that were exposed later against better competition. Is Golovkin the most complete amazing fighter anyone's ever seen at middleweight?

He didn't look too hot against his best opposition at 135, Philip Holliday.

If he stopped fighting today? Or died? People would grossly overrate GGG yeah. But it's clear he's head/shoulders above anyone right now at the weight.

                    But ...no Mosley>GGG

Mosley ran into trouble once he fought guys BIGGER than him. I wouldn't call them flaws....for all intensive purposes we're discussing 135.
