It isn't really such a dichotomy imo. Mosley was one dimensional in that he was physically gifted and physically oriented with great speed and decent power, but he never had the craft down, the intellect to develop technical excellence. You know...the curse of "my old man is in my corner." Just look at Judah for a similar profile.
Mosley is good home cookin' I mean meat and potatoes. Solid, great athlete, strong, fast, decent beard. But like some have mentioned with his jab, and how I would generally characterize him....He never took the steps to be filet Mignon! never used footwork or movement instead relying on pure speed, never understood angles really, and yeah the jab and defense thing.
But Sugar would have always been tough, he could wade in there and catch the best of em....right Floyd?
