Pulev weighed more and had a longer reach. He was also only an inch and a half shorter. Try again. Wlad is was and will continue to be the truth for a while longer.

Firstly Pulev was never going to out jab a master jabber like Wlad, add to the fact he doesnt have the reach

Pulev fought in straight lines, thats his style, which is why i said before the fight, he will not cope well with Wlad..Also he doesnt have freak power.

You want to cause Wlad problems, you come at him with angles, side to side, head movement, good foot work, you have to be quick

Sadly Pulev doesnt have these qualities, he also couldnt man handle Wlad, he doesnt have the size.

Wlad did great, he did what i wanted him to do, and Tony Weeks was very good as a ref.
Whats this about size and reach? You do realize he had a longer reach than Wlad right?

Wlad a real fighter! Pulev a tough warrior!

Wlad is an amazing boxer! I love how he had to adjust to Pulev to get the win. Pulev is also a pretty good fighter, tough as nails to take those shots and continue attacking like he did. If Pulev tightened up his defense, and worked on his footwork a bit more he could have taken Wlad to deep water in the later rounds.

People do not give Wlad credit, and will only do so once he retires. He is fighting all of his mandatories, and fights the top ten contenders. The same cannot be said of guys like Floyd, and Manny who put us in a carousel of fights against in-house fighters. All the while avoiding the match ups the fans want. I would wish that every fighter that holds a title would fight their mandatories, and the top ten in their divisions instead of holding belts hostage.

I prefer a fighter use unconventional tactics like clinching, pushing rather than just plain ducking fighters.

Maybe I am just tired of other fighters antics that I prefer a real fighter fighting all comers. The fans wanted the Haye, and Povetkin fights. We got them. (Yeah Wlad made the Povetkin fight a clinch fest but if Povetkin trained for that he still had some sort of a chance).
