How anybody can say this was a mismatch is beyond me.

Pulev stunned Klitschko with a jab - YES - with a jab in the first round and his legs were very shaky but than he got a little lost and got caught with a huge left hook which he never really recovered from.

He fought on and Klitschko had problems throwing punches in the second and third round because he didn't want to get hit. In the end Pulev almost every time after he landed something just got to carried away and got punched with something in return that was telegraphed - especially the left hook.

I would absolutely like to see a rematch. If Pulev learned his lessons from this he can make it happen.

    Random observations:

    - I've never seen that a fight starts off with the two fighter met in the ring and one gets hugged right away. Without even throwing a punch

    - I've liked how Pulev didn't let Wladimir get away the holding stuff and actually punched him while he was getting held. Still didn't stop Wladimir from clinching but it was funny that Wladimir actually complained about getting hit while holding looooooooooooool what is he suppose to do - go MMA on him?

    - watching german TV and hearing german broadcasting always makes me appreciate american TV and broadcasting. First off all the professionalism is way different when it actually comes to having knowledge of boxing and actually knowing what an opponent is trying to achieve. If Klitschko fights on RTL it is the biggest nutthugging contest I've ever seen - even worst than the Sat1 Felix Sturm nutthugging. Believe me if you think american commentators are on Mayweather's or Pacquiao's **** you have never heard a Klitschko fight with german commentators. Believe me let someone translate the whole build up, Intro, fight and after fight and you will know what I mean.

    - Klitschko vs. Pulev, Haye, Fury and maybe Wilder are the only ppl I wanna see fight him. I don't say that anyone of these guys actually beat him but everyone actually has a tool or two that at least would make it worth watching.

Against bumshows like Wach, Samoan whoever he was and stuff like that I have absolutely no interest in.

Huck would be funny because it is kind of a german duel but it wouldn't be competive.

Fun fight to watch. I knew when he went down on the last one he wouldn't get up.

Wlad was forced to adjust due to the way Pulev fought
        .
        I'm 100% right

Standing up infront of Wlad with NO MOVEMENT, stiff legs, chin up, head still, is all wrong

Firstly Pulev was never going to out jab a master jabber like Wlad, add to the fact he doesnt have the reach

Pulev fought in straight lines, thats his style, which is why i said before the fight, he will not cope well with Wlad..Also he doesnt have freak power.

You want to cause Wlad problems, you come at him with angles, side to side, head movement, good foot work, you have to be quick

Sadly Pulev doesnt have these qualities, he also couldnt man handle Wlad, he doesnt have the size.

Wlad did great, he did what i wanted him to do, and Tony Weeks was very good as a ref.

If Wlad and Haye fought 10 times, i feel Haye would win twice only

The size advantage Wlad has and also his strength caused Haye serious problems, with that said Hayes game plan was very good, only he was gun shy, as was Wlad, way too much respect was given by both guys.

If Haye wants a rematch he will need to earn it,

I give credit to Wlad for beating Pulev, he beat him in style and he looked good doing so.

Pulev went in there unprepared to block the left hook...that was his undoing.

wlad got kind of stunned by a jab in the first round,no surprise there, but why not try to throw punches, try to win? especially when pulev saw that a single jab kind of stunned wlad? man I swear these guys get to me when they just stand in front of a guy and don't throw punches,at one point pulev threw a jab and right, that was good but he only did it like twice and just stood there in front of klitschko, throw punches, take risks,we can all see that wlads chin isn't the greatest and I think wilder might be the one to test that, maybe he'll throw more punches, combinations is the key not just single jabs and move, circle wlad and hit him to the ribs everytime he leans on you,but do something, throw punches.

Also Pulevs greatest strength is his jab, which Wlad totally took away from him.

If anyone would have seen Pulev fight prior to this, they'd know he stood no chance.

Stylistically Wlad was all wrong for Pulev

I wudnt call this a mismatch because Pulev earned his shot, although i wud have liked to see him fight Fury and or Chisora first

there s absolutely no question that wlad is the best heavyweight on the planet, and is skillful in his approach, but he is uniquely frustrating to watch. between the sensational knockdowns, the excessive holding and smothering and ugliness just completely takes the art out of boxing.

                      yes very smart pulev

just goes to show how good haye and even pov are compared to the likes of pulev
But these guys just a few days ago were trying to convince me "not to sleep on Pulev"! I told these guys on this forum that Pulev, has no jab, he is flatfooted, slow, non athletic and doesn't do any particular that is special. I was told that Pulev was none of these things. Yet he fought just as I described him! One commenter above stated how all they kept doing was pawing with the jab!

To beat Klitschko you need a Larry Holmes like jab. You can't stand in front of him with your chin in the air and remain flatfooted throughout the fight, that plays right into his comfort zone.
