Golovkin has been STOPPING guys consistently for the last 6+ years. Some guys hadn't been stopped before, or hadn't been stopped in more than a decade. Performances like that and very high KO ratios will always come under scrutiny eventually no matter the fighter because it's quite unusual. But Kev could be onto something too with his post about Golovkin not facing A-level competition, and how that would change things. But I'm not so sure about that after the way he dismantled Rubio so easily.
Golovkin had been stopping guys consistently though all his career starting in amateurs. In amateurs he was stopping guys on olimpic level wearing head gear and pillow gloves.

When I said consistently, I meant that literally, not figuratively. Literally, he has been stopping guys for the past 6+ years straight. His last win that did not end in KO, and instead was a UD, was in 2008. So that's why I said that.

Barrel Chest, rounded back = built in leverage.

Compare his upper body and shoulders to someone like David Lemieux, they are basically the same. A slight twist and every punch will have full weight behind it.

Lemieux just does not have the technique or balance behind it to successfully land as much.

The guys who have shoulders slightly arced forward always seem to have a heavy punch.
