Ok we establish that he is a paper champ.

I think everyone also establishes that he is a welterweight and not a big one.

So why is Golovkin targeting him?

    "Because he's a paper champ"

Obviously not, for the money, exposure and the belts. You know, the stuff boxers care about.

Glad youre with me on paper champ, but I doubt pro boxers care about your or my feelings when looking for fights. You should stop taking yourself so seriously

If floyd is a paper champ-why would you suggest GGG choose to fight him over Ward-who isn't a paper champ?

Good point. He clearly doesnt, along with Pac. Theyre no ppv juggernaut s like Guerrero, Maidana and Ortiz

Bro, Floyd is the champ at ww and at jr mw. GGG is offering to fight him at jr mw. What's the problem?? Forget about Ward. Floyd needs opponent and as a boxing fan I want to see him fight a good fighter. I don't want to see Floyd vs Khan. Fights with PAC at ww or GGG at jr mw are very good imo.

The last time there was a cross network fight was Tyson Lewis .....you actually think they'd do that for the likes of GGG? A guy who can't even draw more than ward(the most boring fighter on hbo)? On top of that he hasn't proven jack**** in his own division. And when was the last time Floyd has fought north of 147 against a guy who can't draw on his own?

Not really, I've said plenty of times that I think GGG could beat Ward.

He can probably draw more rhan Ward, see stubhub center. And he can definitely draw more than Maidana and Guerrero, probably put together.

So why is Floyd holding on to the lineal belt if only interested in celeb circuit? Waiting for K9 to turn into a superstar, then unify at a cw?

I totally agree with you. I want Floyd to fight Pacquiao. The ******ity between them has no bounds. I blame them both and Arum. I'm a Floyd fan, I used to be a big Pac fan too, but they need to fight. Period.

But, as far as the middleweight guy, he needs to man up and fight Ward, someone his size. No two ways about that.

Maidana and Guerrero fight at ww......again, when was the last time Floyd fought at jmw against someone who can't draw on their own? I'm not too sure about GGG being a better draw than maidana.....maidana had half the arena screaming "chino"! And check the numbers ward is the better draw. Floyd holds on the belt because......he can! He's Floyd mayweather, of course the organizations are gonna bend over for him. Yea It's politics, yea it's corrupt but it's boxing. Your fellow pact@rds brag and scream everyday that pacquiao is a 8 division champion.....who cares?
