I have seen Ali take on fighters where everyone thought he would lose. Win or lose, I respect how he challenged himself. Manny did the same when he moved up from 130 to 147 to fight Oscar with just 1 fight at 135 in between. Everyone including Floyd fans and Team Floyd thought that the fight was so risky for Manny that they thought it was a joke of a fight. Oscar was supposed to win by a landslide.
Floyd has never done something like the above nor does he come close to resumes such as Ali's and Manny's, for example. Now, I get someone such as Larry Holmes and Roy Jones Jr, who were in an era where the risky fights were almost non-existent until later in their careers but Floyd had the opportunities (PLURAL) and preferred to not fight them type of opponents. That is very different and will be part of Floyd's legacy. Like you say, is that terrible? Floyd will still be ranked high but that part will stick with him like glue.
Now its even too late. Sergio Martinez is past it, a Manny fight may happen but it will be way too late. Paul Williams is out ..........
Again, typical manny fan-trying to make legacy about who you didn't fight rather than your wins and losses.
Manny deserves better fans, the kind that can just appreciate him for what he did and his true place in history rather than trying to undermine all those ahead of him.
when will you manny fans learn that each an every time you knock someone above manny down, they will land on manny and still be above him and every time you try an elevate him his head will hit the feet of those above him, lifting them even higher.

He can do nothing in his legacy that will erase the dark spot on his name for being the man who wouldnt for no money fight Manny Pacquiao. Nothing he can do at all will hide that fact!!!
Time to get some young bloods who are putting on exciting fights and fighting the best out there.

Floyd admits that he cherry picks. When will you Floyd fans get on board with that?

I Know i heard all the stories and seen videos but that says nothing. He took the bigger route and became a superstar.
Health comes first is out of context and that has been proven

Of course lists change with time, who knows what happens or how long until we see the next blind survey. Although, there is one historical trend in boxing ATG lists. Defensive fighters tend to inch their way up lists as time goes (Sweet Pea, Pep, Hopkins) by while spectacular offensive fighters tend to be ranked highest at the peak of their prowess (RJJ, Pacquiao, Hearns) and then slide down as time passes.

Health comes first is definitely not taken out of content. Floyd doesnt like to engage and doesnt want to get hit. He throws one to two punches at a time for that reason. That is why he never fought Margarito. Floyd probably could have beaten him but he would have taken punishment.
