Malignaggi(
In his last bout I saw no major declines in his punch output or footwork. Floyd stills looks like Floyd. Floyd's problem though is he's looking predictable in the ring. Everyone from 147 to 154 is salivating at the next opportunity and studying him like notes for a bio-medical final or directions on how to crack a code. Floyd being it. What's the young dudes name......yeah, yeah, yeah, Keith Thurman. That kid would lay Floyd out...he is hungry. Vicious hungry.
I do also believe Floyd may be hiding a suspect chin. That crack Shane gave him years back had him out on his feet. What the hell Shane did after that we'll never know. If the Pacquaio fight comes off I expect it to be the action packed war Pacquaio will make it.

Malignaggi has some cajones talking about anyone slowing down. Don't throw stones when you live in a glass house Paulie. As for Mayweather, is he slowing down or has the competition gotten tougher is the question. The skill level and power of the current classes of fighters from 147-154 are just nasty-these guys-most have power and skill. We know the list.

Leonard fought Benitez, Duran 3x, Hearns 2x, Hagler and won championships at 147,154,160,168,175 by the time he retired, nuff said. No these guys weren't as viable as Floyd at 37 or 38 but they already forged their legacy.

Nobody can fight 100s of fights today at top level because the competition is better , the money is so much higher the game is faster , the training is better , the athletes in all sports are faster and more powerful with all records broken , the game is more destructive today , you have never boxed you read storys of old greats of the past and off you go into dreamland , watch these old greats fight on tape they would have a hard time today where technique is so much better .

If you ever tried this sport you will realize after 2 yrs out that your weight can change a little , Floyd thought he will make it and would not of known until right at the end and said fck it , he weighed in at 146 .
I use to love Mayweather. But, he's become a total wimp mostly concerned with protecting his "0". Why must he always have the odds tilted in his favor before a fight; not making weight, selecting a fighters gloves, choosing the ref, he's even "retired" to fight top competition, etc. This is not a champ on the top of his game. He hasn't stopped anyone In years. He relies on boxing politics ("I'm the A side"), and "gamesmanship" that is basically skewing the fight to his favor as he runs for 12 rounds. I was a fan but his best days are behind him. He's a joke.
*and I've "tried the sport". I've been boxing all my life
