I guarantee this fight would get done if that happened. Algieri would happily take a payday to step away with a possible shot at winner down the line. At the very least it would put some pressure of the other side for a change. In reality what happened is Floyd ok'd one of his literate minions to try to belittle the man everybody wants him to fight by showing pictures of another man beating him. He also tried to call him a beggar for wanting the fight. Floyd says the man is begging for the fight but Floydiots keep saying drug testing, scared, 5 years ago, Arum, I know 40 million was bad but he should have taken it, Roach admitted it, Ariza shakes were real but not now, and other things unrelated to the fact that Floyd says Manny is begging for fight and Floydiots still say Manny is the one holding up the biggest fight ever.

I think it's go time. Manny has looked "better" than floyd recently so the fight is almost back at its apex.

I think they make the fight this time around. Manny has his best chance to win right now. Floyd has slowed and manny has had real success against boxers. Besides, it's 5 years, same as SRL v Hagler so bob did same he did there-wait to make fight when his cash cow has the best chance to win.

To Pacquiao it was a joke but he should have negotiated instead of saying 50% or no fight because at that point he wasn't in the position to ask for 50% of everything like he was in 2009 in which Floyd agreed to. Manny's problem is that he thinks he is on the same level as Mayweather. Fame wise I would say yeah, Manny has a big name globally but in any business it is a #'s game and his are not comparing with Mayweather.

Not to mention that Pacquiao said prior to Floyd offering him no PPV that he would take less than Mayweather. Mayweather's problem is that he feels he doesn't need to let them make money off of his name not thinking that it benefits him as well. Both don't have to fight each other but in the long run that is going to reflect poorly on their careers considering both were in the same weight class and big names in the sport. Pacquiao doesn't want to be considered the #2 in the equation but in reality he is.

Grust you are my one of my favorite posters, but I still don't see how Pac can be considered #2 when he was knocked out by JMM and lost to Bradley (even though he avenged it)

Now who's the fool? Plain as day that Mayweather was going to let Maidana use his gloves until he saw that they were not legit and the Commission cosigned he was right. Mayweather said no to the other gloves which were legit because he was obviously upset about it and didn't trust Maidana AND who would after dude got caught trying to cheat.
