He's got two more fights left and you guys think he should retire already? That's kind of weak. It's not like we went life and death against Maidana. To retire now would be a terrible choice.

Maidana fought great the first time but he is not really a great fighter (he is very good) so expecting him to turn in 2 exceptional performances in a row against a great fighter who knows how to do different things in the ring was asking an awful lot.
I thought Bayless had a huge part in Floyds win, it should be the fighters job to work out of a clinch, the ref shouldn't have do it for you in a fight by breaking you up "everytime". Disgusting ref tonight, just didn't look right.

This performance by Floyd further demonstrates evidence of why Floyd will never be ranked ahead of Pacquiao on the all-time pound for pound list...

When did Pacquiao ever excessively clinch his way to a win lol?

Been a Floyd fan since before a lot of you knew he existed. That's why I can say without flinching that that was a crock of **** what I saw tonight. He made the adjustments and made the fight easier on himself. But, he had some help in there tonight. And what made it worse, he didn't need it. I don't have a problem with the holding. But I did have a problem with Bayless breaking while Chino was still working and basically breaking them when Chino would simply work his inside Floyd's comfort zone legally. Don't get me wrong, the way Chino fought the first fight. And hos corner instructing him to fight dirty he kinda had to know this was coming. And biting Floyd pretty much sealed his fate. But damn, not gonna say Floyd had Bayless in his pocket. But Bayless clearly overofficiated ths t fight tonight was one sidedin that overoffociating.

Twitter seems dead talking about this one, NSB doesn't have the usual flood of people after a Floyd fight. Not much buzz before and after this one.
My best friend (a casual fan) usually goes to a fight party every PPV, but that person decided not to throw one. I'm sure there are other boxing fans that looked at the card and said, "I'll pass". The only fight worth watching was Soto/Molina, and that was for free!

In any sport it is on the participants to play to that official and make it work, mostly a guy is either going to be involved or not involved there is no middle ground. I personally prefer refs to be less involved, but need a fighter needs to be able to deal with either situation.

What Floyd was doing was effective, and it would have been effective without Bayless but the ref being more involved was an advantage to Floyd.

I can tell Floyd is ready to retire. He has little desire to fight imo. 2 more fights and Floyd is gone & I hope he stays retired.
I thought the same thing as I watched the fight and post fight interview. Mayweather is sticking around for the money but his heart isn't in it. I think he also realizes more these days that he isn't the fighter he used to be.......
