bad stoppage, ortiz did what he was supposed to do. Stay down as long as he can to regain himself and get up before the count. He has to beat the 10 count! which he did! lol but he was still waved off? lmfao

The ref might have felt the fighter didn't want to continue(wasn't a lot of protest from Ortiz). Add the fact he spit his mouthpiece out it could have been a combination of things. With that said I'm surprised it got waved off. I think right thing to do was take a point away for the mouthpiece.
