Chino has a really effective jab. What was so suprising was how he was able to use that jab the first fight to back Floyd up. There are two factors which make this a dangerous fight for Floyd:

    a) Floyd's style does not counter the jab well. You often see james Toney (who fights with the same mechanics) wait to counter a right hand punch off the jab. De La Hoya showed that Floyd could be controlled well with a jab.

    b) his legs are not able to carry him for 12 rounds. Chino is good enough with the jab and pressure to catch Floyd against the sides of the ring.

I just want to respectfully know how it is that you know of what you're speaking. Are u an insider? Are you on Floyd's training staff?

      Serious question.

The only thing interesting is that Maidana has been in the ring with Floyd and feels the guy can't hurt him. May help him go all out. Personally I don't think it matters as Floyd has already stated publicly that he hand picked a ref that won't let Maidana get away with any "veteran moves."
Floyd by boring UD or Maidana disqualification.

I don't think Maidana's jab is really effective, I think it surprised Mayweather which Floyd admitted himself but Maidana's jab isn't as good as the jabs that have troubled Mayweather in the past. Oscar and Cotto both step in with the jab, that made it difficult for Mayweather to control distance/ set up the pull counter, Maidana isn't nearly as good with the jab as those guys. I think Mayweather will come better prepared for it, while Maidana showed a good jab I think it was how Maidana archs his right hand that forced Mayweather to back up, that more so than the jab, Maidana's right hand had Mayweather fighting more defensive than we're used to seeing, at least in the first half.

The bold is ridiculous by the way.

But why would any intelligent fighter stand and do that if its to his disadvantage??? I think you will see Floyd at his best in this fight. You will see pure skill and speed. It could be somewhat exciting in the early rounds, but it will quickly become Floyd's style of fight. I would love to see Floyd commit to the body early and look for the KO late. Early in his career, that would have been the case, but he's went away from that as a welterweight.

I honestly think Floyd carried Maidana in the 1st fight simply to set up the rematch. He didn't know that Maidana was going to make it that rugged, but Floyd made the fight more interesting than it had to be. How many times was Maidana wide open for shots? Plenty, but Floyd didn't take advantage. Why, because Maidana was too fast and skilled and might have countered??? No, because that was the game plan.

At this stage, Floyd in my opinion, is a better business man than he is a fighter. He is running out of marketable opponents to make the big pay per views. So he created one in Maidana by making the fight close. He will dominate him this time around setting up a big fight with Pacquiao in May. Then he will rematch Manny in September and retire. Its a brilliant plan and most lucrative way to go out. Floyd is just praying that Manny beats Algieri in December, because that could be a very bad match up for Manny. A lost will throw off the entire plan.
You actually think floyd fought that way "for the fans"?

This wasn't a tactical decision. And it isn't going to improve.
                    No
Maidana by knockout is my pick.
That has been stated in the past and Floyd went on to box circles around his opponents and lift their belts and titles.

Maidana doesn't want to fight a mover. He wants a stationary target 'cause he doesn't want to gas out.

Uuummm, no. Everybody saw Floyd win and lift the belt off Chino.

I'm not a floyd fan as a person but having no respect for floyd is one of several reasons chino will loose. Floyd has you figured out and you will be outclassed.
