But I know for a 100% fact -- and not just from a fan's perspective but from firsthand information. And as a matter of fact he did say it personally. But words don't mean much so I don't put too much into that either way.

I'm talking about action. And I've seen attempts of negotiation with my own eyes. I've seen the original contract.

I will say this about Mayweather though: One thing Floyd is is that he's a control freak. And while he's a super duper star now, I don't think he was quite as big as he thought he was. He proved me wrong, though.

Makes him tough to deal with. You can't bully him around. Remember when he retired? That wasn't because of Cotto, Margarito and so forth. He didn't care about them.

It was because they didn't pay him what he felt he deserved for the rematch with Oscar. So he took his ball and went home. Which is his prerogative; he certainly was the one who sold the fight.

But as for Pacquiao, there is not one single, solitary ounce of fear in his heart for Pacquiao. He truly believes -- you can choose whether you believe me or not -- but he truly doesn't think that's a tough fight.

He thinks Marquez is a tougher fight for him.
Wow. you have proof but yet you dont want to say or show it.

Why are you people still arguing over this? It's damn near Jones-Hopkins II territory now. Both guys are out of their primes, the fight is no longer meaningful IMO. Floyd just went life and death with a club fighter and is about to do it again. Manny is going to test his prowess against some random dude.

I'd rather pay for a PPV of them having a read off at this point. Whoever finishes one page of a Harry Potter book first wins

lol it's the floyd fanboys against the world

usually the debate is between pac's & floyd's fanbases but in this thread, the floydiots are going up against other fans who are more or less neutral when it comes to pac/floyd discussions...shows you how low these moronic flowmos could get to defend floyd.

Because there are still people (in the media) who can't stop asking about it. Four years later and they ask the same question for the millionth time.

Of course, fighthype fanboys would defend their hero.

Have to disagree with you there. I wasn't pulling for Marquez at all, but when he KO'd Manny, I shouted, "Oh ****! He's not getting up!" It was truly a shocker that could have evoked a verbal response from fans of both fighters. It's hard to discern cheers from shouts from such a large crowd.

This is an idiot. The guy calls himself MONEY. The chicken turned down the biggest money fight of all time. EASY FIGHT EASY MONEY.

you are saying that sr was wrong all along?

then why won't floyd fight the fight that would have given him his biggest payday? don't bother with pac's share on the take.......it is not an issue....

the point is why walk away from more $$$ if the fight vs the one-dimensional midget has-been is easy as a walk in the park?

roach is right...pac waits not for floyd...pac fights 2 fights a year...

floyd waits for opponents to get the wear and tear.....

Because the dude insisted on being allowed to be on drugs. If he would've taken the test, they would've fought by now. That's a fact. Maybe even twice.

And how can he wait for dude to get wear and tear? He's two years older than him.
