Maidana has an underrated jab. It's not lightning fast but he throws it without telegraphing it like most fighters. That said, surely Marcos must realize Floyd made the proper adjustment and starting countering off his jab later in the fight.

You'll see that exact counter a lot more in the 2nd fight.

                He didn't.........

He really lost that first Castillo fight. So, that doesn't qualify as Floyd giving him a rematch. It was the other way around. And against Maidana. He won the fight 7-5 in my book. Why is it necessary to rematch a guy who you have already beaten? I'll tell you why. He KNOWS that MM is limited in what he can do. Don't be fooled by Floyd's decision to fight him again. MM beat him up and embarrassed him but he lost.

A weird example of Mayweather countering Maidana's jab when Maidana states that Floyd can't avoid the jab? Ok.

It happened multiple times throughout the second half of the fight. This is just 1 example.

                  Hate all you want tho.

Man I hated so much that I gave him those rounds, and the fight. I did it out of pure spite too.

I wasn't talking about Maidana's comment which is ridiculous, I'm talking about the effectiveness of his jab.

You and I must agree on it being effective at some level, why else would you need to use the word "adapt" in regards to how Floyd dealt with it?
