Exactly. Rigo doesn't need to follow the shady route. He shouldn't give any ammunition to his detractors.

What are you talking about? Ref said Fight, and that's what Rigondeaux did. The only person to blame here is the Thai fighter. Be ready at all times. #1 rule. Rigondeaux just took care of business, simple as at that. They are opponents trying to beat each other up. They are not friends. The object of the game is win, period. If the Thai fighter wasn't ready, that's not Rigo's concern as the ref instructed them to fight and that's exactly what he did. This isn't a game, it's a fight.

And I said the exact same thing with the Floyd/Ortiz fight. Ortiz 100% was to blame.

When he retired Manny Steward made a comment that he knew Floyd would return because he retired at such a young age. Similar to SRL who retired and returned, retired, and returned. But you know all of this already.
Never said that boxers dont come back after retirement. You are still a mayweather nuthugger. Anything he does is never wrong for *****s.

Second the only reason Floyd fought Baldomir because fans demanded it as well as the sanctioning bodies after Baldimir beat Zab. Floyd refuse the Baldomir fight, only to hear fans say that he was ducking a legitimate contender and the rightful holder of the liner 147 pound title.
According to murkaman cotto wasnt around for mayweather to challenge. And he doesnt know why mosley fought him. Maybe cuz he juat wanted to fight him. Sharmba mitchell was waayyy past his prime. Could it be that floyd only fought him cuz mitchell knocked his uncle out? Only floyd knows. Maybe murkaman knows as well. Baldomir has gotten beaten before by others.

On one hand you've got a bunch of bloodthirsty ghouls baying for Mayweather to die in the ring and cheering on Maidana for roughing up and fouling him, but when Rigo or Mayweather get a little bit ruthless, get a bit nasty, they're called bad sportsmen.
LMFAOOO at the perfect execution of that word "bay" & seriously. Most people dksab so they want mayhem, then when someone like Floyd does a "succer punch" ala Gatti, JLC I, Ortiz or Rigo in this fight. They loose their damn minds like The Joker would say.

No one likes a cheap win.
                  Wrong!!! fan boys do.

Why did Rigo extend his hand to touch gloves then?

                    Cheap and unnecessary.

Well yeah, man. I know it's called 'prizefighting' for a reason, as in sanctioned hand-to-hand combat between professional fighters, but it's still a sport in the end. I dislike many fighters and do indeed cheer for some of them to get KO'ed in embarrassing fashion, but I still want them to be able to walk out of the ring under their own power, so that...

                      1. They can soak up their loss and endure the ridicule; and 2. On a humanistic level, hope that they continue to lead healthy lives outside the ring. No fighter today could instill so hatred in me on a personal level that I'd want them to end up like Mago, Michael Watson or Gerald McClellan.
