Margs didn't get caught before the Cotto fight. I agree, if I was Floyd I would point out that he tried to use some fugazi gloves, but the Top Rank stuff...where's that coming from? Now everybody is engaged in endless and absurd arguments about using (or not using) some regular boxing gloves... And even building hype around such a trivial issue...

He never tried to slip by, the gloves were already approved, it was Ellerbe who touched them and said no sir, and than they give him another pair he said no, and than the red mx were approved and floyd and ellerbe said no horse hair gloves.
