I honestly think kovolev beats Hopkins, and I think he will do it rather easily much like Dawson or Taylor 2... Different style and approach of course but same result.. I just don't think Hopkins will take enough chances and be active enough to win on points,,,

            Hey all,

Can someone please explain to me how Hopkins is allowed to keep fighting? Don't you or anyone see how his speaking has slowed down and he is clearly showing early onset signs of brain damage from pugilistic related dementia? Watch a bunch of hs interviews, starting from the mid 90's all the way up to the current interviews he's doing to promote the Kovalev fight and see the MENTAL DECLINE. It is scary and disturbing. I love this guy as a fighter, a boxer, athlete, and as a man. As if seeing Ali the way he is now doesn't completely break my heart, seeing the same thing happen to B-Hop in the near future is going to be devastating.

Are there people that even deny this type of stuff is related to boxing anymore? I love this sport and always will and I want to see the best fights, and you bet your A$$ I'll be watching Hopkins - Kovalev LIVE. But every time Hopkins takes a hit to the head, my heart is going to take the hit as well. Does anyone else feel like this, with any other fighter? Or has in the past?

I don't like seeing Marcos Maidana getting hit in the head. It hurt seeing him get hit after the bell during the Adrien Broner fight. That punch most likely damaged the brain.

Is Bernard Hopkins brain damaged? See for yourself.

Not seeing the brain damage, he was picking his words more carefully in the second video, amped up after a fight in the first video.

Can't see Hopkins winning, but also can't see him allowing himself to get KO'd. It will be incredibly painful to watch. Hopefully Kovalev has some mercy on the old man, kinda like how Ali did against Jerry Quarry.
