Aren't you like 22 years old mr "hopkins will be in the top 10 of all times".
IronDan has literally been watching boxing for almost twice the amount of time you've been alive

From the looks of it, Kovalev's punches are too strong for Hopkins.
However, two things go against that -- the fact that Kovalev is untested and Hopkins is a true master technician.
Kovalev is hyped up by HBO. He has never faced serious adversity, adjusted, and come back from it.
Hopkins has.
Also, can Kovalev box backwards? I'm not sure.
Kovalev's power seems legit, but are his skills also the real deal? Hopefully we'll see in this fight.
Hopkins is going to have to use all the tricks and frustrate Kovalev.

I'm sort of unsure who to pick - my gut tells me BHop is taking one too many, but on the other hand, he's BHop.
Picked Kovalev by decision, but I could just as easily have picked Hopkins.

Kovalev's overrated. He will drown in deep waters. What good is power if you can't put it to good use?
The furthest Kovalev has gone in his career is eight rounds...and that was a split decision. Just you all watch. Kovalev is going to look like a deer in headlights and as he's up there in the ring thinking, "How is this old geezer beating me so easily?"
I'm not shook in the slightest.
Hopkins' got this.
EDIT: I just took a look at the poll. This forum disgusts me. LOL
All this is getting thrown out of the window when Kovalev beats Hopkins.
I just hope you're not going around calling Kovalev overrated after November 8th

It's not perception, it's fact. Perception is going by names and reputations built on something which was accomplished a decade earlier.
Hell yes, Shane Mosley at 39 was a better win than dragging Kelly Pavlik up 10 pounds. Shane Mosley was a better fighter. Unquestionably. Pre-fight expectations don't matter nearly as much as who these fighters actually are.
Why not give Mayweather that same credit for bringing up a much better fighter in Juan Manuel Marquez up 10 pounds? Because you're focusing on the predictions before the fight rather than the reality of who these fighters are. Marquez was expected to be dominated, so you don't seem to think it matters that he's a much better fighter than Pavlik could ever dream of being.
That's the problem with Hopkins resume in general when compared to Mayweather or Roy Jones or Manny Pacquiao, who people always argue he's greater than. Once you look past the expectations going in and the age, the fighters he has beaten don't compare.
