Not only that, the first time they fought, Mayweather had 5 months to prepare for Maidana, being that he knew Maidana was his opponent after the broner fight... He waited till the very end to tell Maidana he was the opponent so that way Maidana barely had 8 weeks to train for the fight... I mean come on.. If you have 5 months to prepare for a fight and the other guy has 2 months and you still can't wash him out of the ocean... enuff said EOF

Why do people want to see Floyd against Cotto again? Just so he can go up and grab a belt? One that should really belong to GGG if there was justice in boxing and the best had to face the best in their respected division. Cotto won 2-3 rounds while Maidana won 4-5 and a few people even think he pulled it off. Nobody believes that Cotto won the fight. Maidana rematch > Cotto rematch.

This is a justifiable rematch. I hope floyd finds another way to piss of posters who like to pretend the gloves made a difference. They are really mad that floyd has the power and uses it the way he chooses.

Last I checked he got his chance to choose his gloves and they got rejected by the commission. If I was Floyd I would've took control of the situation after that too. Those first gloves Maidana a tried to use were almost bare knuckle that's pure ****ery why don't one of you that thinks it's fine try to take a punch to the back of the head from a puncher with those on, I say back of the head cuz that's where he mostly connected. Floyd has at least 3 fights on his record that should have an asterisk next to them:

1. Jose Luis Castillo 1: Clearly a win for Castillo, the scorecards were a joke.
2. Marquez: Mayweather didn't make the contractual weight. Use contractual trickery to make Marquez have to take the fight and accept a penalty for the unfair weight advantage Floyd received.
3. Maidana: Had NSAC ban gloves it had previously approved, and again the scorecards were clearly a joke.

Maidana should demand he get to wear his gloves or else fk this fight seriously...
