Makes massive excuse for Cotto's loss to Margarito.
However It's clear as day that Martinez's knees where shot in that fight. I moda****in agree with you on that.Last edited by Vadrigar.; 06-09-2014, 01:25 PM.

At least you can avoid some of the fire coming your way if your defense is good, with an injured knee you literally are a sitting duck.

"Martinez was taken to Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan following the fight and missed the post-fight press conference. An MRI revealed that Martinez suffered a broken nose, but his right knee and left hand, which had been damaged in his last fight in April of 2013, were fine, Lewkowicz said. DiBella said an additional CT Scan revealed "no abnormalities." Martinez was discharged at 5 a.m. on Sunday and traveled back home to Spain later in the day, Lewkowicz said."
anyone claiming he battled with a injury is flat out wrong & don't know what their talking about (and even then they refuse to listen what martinez himself said that troubled him) A hook that broke his nose and had him fighting dizzy for the remaining of the fight.
Duurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr you're just so ****ing ******!!
He didn't fight with an injury yet you just quoted that he did omg what an idiot!Last edited by M Bison; 06-09-2014, 01:27 PM.

Lou DiBella, believes that Martinez may have suffered a concussion in those moments. "He said he was out on his feet after the first round," DiBella said in a phone interview Sunday. "He felt his body wasn't there" chronic dizzyness.
those are all 100% symptoms of a concussion.Last edited by Godsfly; 06-09-2014, 01:37 PM.

I still think the 2010 Maravilla that won Ring ****zine fighter of the year would annihilate Saturday's Cotto. But no excuses, Cotto fought the fight of his career and he came with poise to make history.
