Canelo would be a huge payday for Cotto, but it may be a beating. I mean, Canelo is a much younger, stronger, hungrier guy, who's skills are really riping into maturity.

A rematch with Floyd would be great, because Cotto looked good against him the first time around, now has Roach in his corner, and we've seen Floyd look vulnerable lately. (Though he will cowardly claim he's just "giving the fans what they want" blah blah.)

Good win for Cotto, he saved the day for Puerto Rico. Pedraza has a way to go to develop a fan base. Puerto Rico would not celebrate Pedraza's win alone. Verdejo has a good fan base and hasn't done anything yet. His win was designed to be easy. Melendez has a better following than Pedraza, though I don't know why.

Very happy for Cotto. He's been a very good fighter for a long time and has never been able to get over the hump against an elite foe, and for anybody with a functional pair of eyes, he still hasn't. But hey, that's not his fault. He fought THEE middleweight champion of the world and did a muthaf.ucka with him. Cong**** champ.

I was supporting Cotto from the off but that was deeply depressing.

I was wrong I thought Martinez would whip Cotto but Cotto had other plans tonight. Martinez was in the ring with a faster fighter then him tonight and he was open for that right hook the same one Chavez Jr landed on him. To all the PR posters on here live it up tonight for Angel.
