I get them from Ring mate.
I follow them on facebook, and whenever they post an interview up and it catches my eye, i come and post it on here.

Sometimes I nip on their website and see if there are any new ones.

I noticed recently that some of the newer ones they have posted up (Vitali, Leonard, Pavlik) could only be viewed if you have a digital subscription to the ****zine. But hopefully those kind become available before too long

      Ah yeah!

I remember seeing those interviews on the Ring site some time back. I don't really visit them anymore as the reporting is pretty terrible these days and the bias has gotten worse.

        Tony DeMarco - 2017

        FASTEST HANDS
        Kid Gavilan:
He had fast hands. He gained points but i gained enough to win. George Araujo from Providence, he was quite fast. I stopped him in five rounds but he was quite good.

        BEST FOOTWORK:
        Gavilan
: He had terrific footwork. When you were looking to aggresively attack him, he was able to move from side to side, in and out - and he was that fast.

        BEST CHIN:
        Carmen Basilio
: I hit Basilio with some good punches but unfortunately I didn't knock him out. I hit Basilio with good left hooks. I staggered him one time and his knees buckled and he went to the neutral corner. How he stood up, i don't know. His knees buckled down almost to the canvas and he managed to weather the storm.

        STRONGEST:
        Basilio
: He should of gone down (laughs). He was very strong.

        SMARTEST:
        Gavilan:
I would say Kid Gavilan. He had that famous bolo punch and he utilized that quite well. You had to watch out for that. He was in and out as far as tactics were concerned.
It was hard to find him with a punch. I remember getting in close trying to get him on the ropes, but in doing that he had his own tactics. He had the jabs and the ability to bounce off the ropes into different direction. He was clever, a champion for a long time.

        BEST JAB:
        Johnny Cesario:
He was able to jab two or three times and move. and the next thing you know he's away. That's how fast he was. He had speed and a good jab.

        BEST PUNCHER:
        Basilio
: Virgil Atkins was a terrific puncher and so was Basilio. I would say those two were exceptional. I would think Basilio was number one.

        BEST DEFENSE:
        Gavilan
: Gavilan had a good defense, he was around for a long time. He knew his different tactics, he knew his tricks. He was a real polished fighter. I had to fight and score points. Fortunately i did.

        BEST OVERALL SKILLS:
        Gavilian
: You've got to give him his respect. Cesario, give him some skills as a boxer. I'd say Gavilan.

        BEST OVERALL:
        Basilio:
I've always said the best fighter i've faced was Basilio.

          Kelly Pavlik - 2017

          BEST JAB:
          Jermain Taylor
: I'd definitely have to say Taylor. He had a shot that would irritate you. It was a hard jab, and fast. He has two different jabs that were hard to pick up.
Taylor had a very good jab.

          BEST DEFENSE:
          Bernard Hopkins
: I have to say Hopkins on that one. It was weird defense. I think a lot of fighters could vouch for that. Hopkins wasn't a guy wou'd bounce around or bob and weave. When you threw, he would charge in and suffocate your punch or combos, or he would just make one slight move when the punch was in mid-air and take it away from you. Or sometimes he would move a split-second before you were in the hard part of your punch and he would move into it and take off some of the power.

          FASTEST HANDS:
          Taylor:
That's a close one. I'd probably have to go between Sergio Martinez and Taylor. I had an easier time, believe it or not, with Martinez - a lot of factors played into that fight. Both would throw fast punches, but Sergio's were from on the move and just weird angles and i'm not expecting anybody to throw a punch from that angle. Taylor was just fast. It's kind of different, more orthodox. I would say Taylor, Martinez was nowhere near as dangerous.

          BEST FOOTWORK:
          Martinez
: That goes to Sergio, Hopkins has very good footwork too, he knew how to punch coming in to stop you from countering or to stop you from throwing a combo. He knew how to slide and to make you miss. You have Sergio Martinez, he'd be moving (at) all different angles and it was tough to really get a punch off. You're moving at the same time to try to get in position to catch him, and that made it hard. One guy used it when he needed to use it, and you had another guy that was constantly using it. I'd imagine overall, Sergio Martinez, he was harder to catch.

          BEST CHIN:
          Ross Thompson:
There were a handful of guys i went to a decision with, like Ross, Avila, guys like that. I'd say Rubio was up there. Lopez. he had a pretty good chin. I would go with Ross Thompson. I landed some clean shots on him and ended up going to a decision with him.

          SMARTEST:
          Hopkins:
Hands down. He had good footwork but it wasn't flashy, it wasn't obvious. He made the right steps and the right moves and you really didn't know he was making them. He;d do other moves to get into position to hit you with something, wether they were legal or not legal (laughs). Very savvy, very smart with every move he made.

          STRONGEST:
          Edison Miranda:
I'd probably have to say Miranda. I would just hit somebody and they knew i was strong and they'd retreat or couldn't keep up with my strength. It wasn't hard work for me. With Miranda, i used a lot of strength and energy to keep him going backwards, more than i did with other people.

          BEST PUNCHER:
          Miranda:
I'd say hands down Miranda. When he hit you, you felt it. You carried his punches, every round. A lot of those punches, thank god, my chin was tucked. I saw it coming so i could prepare for it to absorb it. You felt it in your whole body. It was a different feeling getting hit by him to anyone else i thought.

          BEST BOXING SKILLS:
          Hopkins:
I'd have to go ahead and say Hopkins. He was smart, he moved in inches and angles, he wasnt flashy. You have guys whose natural ability comes out. Hopkins was a technician, he knew what he was doing.

          BEST OVERALL:
          Taylor:
I'm not just saying it because i won the World Title, but probably Taylor. I personally think he won both Hopkins fights.

              Sugar Ray Leonard - 2017

              BEST SKILL
              Hearns
: At 147, Tommy was so quick and powerful. He was also a better boxer than he was given credit for, although he didn't always use his skills the way he should have. Tommy's punches were so effective and long that you had to get inside. You must get close enough. If you can't do that, you will not win.

              BEST JAB
              Hearns
: How do you get around that thing. How do you contend with that weapon? I had to hurt him. First, he was chasing me down, then i was chasing him down. I became rejuvenated during that first fight and once i hurt a guy, it's over.

              BEST DEFENSE:
              Mayweather Snr
: That defensive style rubbed off on his son, but the difference between Snr and Jnr was that Jnr could punch for his weight. Snr had bad hands, brittle hands, and he couldn't punch. I need to mention Wilfred Benitez here too. He had a great defense but i overcame it with my speed. I missed more than i landed but what i did land was effective.

              BEST CHIN:
              Marcos Geraldo
: He weighed in at 160, (Leonard was 153). I would hit the guy with 20 consecutive shots, shots that would normally knock a guy out. All he would do was turn his chin and look right back at me. Geraldo also hurt me every time he hit me. I would also guess- without medical experience- that he was the guy that started my partially detached retina. He would hit me and i saw three of him. Angelo Dundee had me fight a plethora of different fighters : boxers, punchers, slow guys, fast guys and big guys. The Geraldo fight was maybe a bit too extreme (laughs).

              BEST PUNCHER:
              Duran
: In the first fight, he hurt me a number of times. There were body shots that, even though, they didn't hurt me bad, I felt them. He hit me so hard that i was looking around to see who else was in the ring with us. Who else is in here except us and the referee? (Laughs). Duran was methodical and he was constantly looking to break you down.

              FASTEST HANDS:
              Hearns
: Tommy could be sitting on his stool and hit you from the other corner. His punches were so long and fast. I remember that jab giving me so many problems (in the first fight), but later on, i brought my own jab into play.

              BEST FOOTWORK:
              Hearns:
I don't remember anyone being superior to me with their feet, but Tommy used his feet in our 1st fight. His height and reach, plus his movement gave me problems. I said to myself, ''this son of a ***** can box too''.

              SMARTEST:
              Duran
: A smart man, he was elusive, he had good handspeed, he broke you down. His fights with De Jesus were prime examples of what he could do. I'd never been hit as hard up to that point. He threw punches in bunches and was a technician in the ring. It takes a real technician to win world titles from lightweight to middleweight.

              STRONGEST:
              Hagler
: He was ambidextrous and could knock you out with either hand. It's just that in our fight he struggled to hit me flush. He hit me a couple of times where he rocked me, but it wasn't like Tommy and Hagler, which was a war. It wasn't like Antuofermo and Hagler. I fought a very strategic fight.

              BEST OVERALL :
              Hearns:
It was Tommy. I don't think anything matches our first fight. My god, i can think about the fight and have nightmares. The ebb and flow, up and down; Tommy's winning, i'm winning. That went on until the very last punch.

Hearns should be ranked top 10 p4p. all time. If everything was equal, I don't think Ali would win against a guy like Hearns. Picture Deontay Wilder with Hearns skill set.
