Out of all people to believe you freaking ******s will take a rival company's word for it. This place gets worse by the damn day. Why would he say it was a success even if it was?

I thought to myself, "wow, this fight most likely bombed." Even the Chavez fight was way busier. You have to log in in the Bradley/Pacman fight. NSB was very busy for many hours. 500K is closer.

In the other thread it says it did 900K. That's clearly a lie.
what i do find interesting is that when alleged PPV numbers come out under 1 mill buys for Floyd, you guys jump on it and rejoice that his PPV failed but when Pac mans PPV comes under 500,000 buys and the subject gets brought up, you say PPV buys dont matter and question why we are so interested in PPV's instead of good fights.

theres just too much double standards and hypocrites on this website.. I agree Floyd contradicts himself but so do 99% of fans and this proves it.

I dont say much on this website but i do read threads nearly everyday at work and the contradictions and double standards when it comes to Floyd is RIDICULOUS!

the man still sold more PPV's than anyone else and still gets 3,4 times more money than all other athletes, let alone boxers.

I couldnt care less what these guys PPV buys are as long as i get to watch them fight, am good. :-)

dont let hate for anyone blind you from the truth/facts.

Men lie, women lie........ you know the rest...lol

      peace out!

I don't doubt the fight did crap numbers because people get sick of paying to see someone beat up on a piñata. The funny ironic **** is that this was an extremely close worth every penny kind of fight although it wasn't supposed to be.

Floyd kills me. He comes out and says things like "I don't need to fight Pacquiao because my last ppv did x amount of #s while his only did x amount of #s" only to turn around and fight a guys like Guerrero and maidana who have zero ppv buys.

its only good #'s when it comes to floyd.. pac vs rios/bradley wasnt a super fight either and those #'s werent that far from the floyd/maidana #'s but somehow for pac its a flopped? lmao!

these bum ass posters love to say "styles make fights" yet completely forgot about it going into this one. now you're hearing it again because hindsight is 20/20. alvarez likes to sit and counter and admire his combinations on punching bags, he lost virtually every round but the last, and i was not the least bit surprised.

Just wondering how floyd's going to justify asking for a larger share of ppv revenue against manny now..

Floyd's last fight does 800k, of which he only contributed about 550k buys. Dont even try to ignore the cinco de mayo and stacked undercard factors.

Manny on the other hand, sold a full 750k on his own. And this includes floyd trying to reduce manny's buys by having his posters on display during mannys press conference lmao. Wonder how much floyd paid mgm to do that.

Manny should prob be getting around a 60/40 split in his favor imo.

Says Pac-Bradley did about the same number Mayweather did, and that Showtime needed to do 1.2 million buys to turn a profit.
Thats because people knew Maidana was a bs opponent. Everyone who asked me I said the fight wasnt worth ordering. Maidana did great but only one fight removed from 140 and Floyd is fighting this dude and only because the fans didnt want Amir Khan.

You guys that are happy this has happened are idiots. We need to support boxing, no matter if it's a fighter you dont' like. If boxing doesn't turn a profit, then guess what, they won't put it on as frequently.

I want ALL fights to do well.
