Its shameful really... forget 50 50 Maidana got about 1/22th of Floyd's guarantee. Argentine rights are not bound to amount to much either. At least he now has admiration of the people and leverage for a more lucrative payday in the rematch. But between the glove thing and lowballing chino I dont blame Chino at all for his rough tactics.

Am sure he gets the argentine PPV money, this is how Hatton made a fortune against Mayweather.

Exactly what it is. Foreign fighters always take smaller cuts because they make a KILLING in their home markets. You see it a lot with the Japanese fighters too. Nishioka got a small purse to fight Donaire but made big bank from his home TV rights.

I would hope he's going to AT LEAST get around the same as the 4 or 5 mil (can't remember) that Guerrero got last year. If not, maybe they lowballed to get the nod over Khan.

The lottery ticket is the opportunity, and he did actually cash in because he will be worth more for a while.

Maidana took the annuity instead of the lump sum, he knew exactly what he was getting in to~

              this is true.

although i think they should have gave him a little more than that, he earn it.

He will more than make up for it on the back end, which is cool because he did earn it.

Proves the point Khan isn't targeting Floyd for $ alone, but the glory and prestige and a chance to beat the best. He made the same as Maidana by being on the under card.

you would need to deduct the 40% the U.S. government takes plus trainer fee's before doing any math

I doubt chino makes a lot of money from Argentine TV. Pac is a GOD in the Philippines and he does not make a lot of money from Philippine TV when he fights. Argentina like the Philippines is a 3rd world country. In fact I'm sure the fight was free for them their.
