    I don't see why it is so hard to understand that these things are offensive. They are borderline racist comments because you are singling out some one's race/ethnicity in an offensive manner.

    If Broner said "I just beat a Mexican warrior", it's not offensive or even close to racist because he is just giving him props.


    Why would I tell you "STFU Pinoy?" why does it matter that you are Pinoy? Why did I have to use Pinoy as if it is a diss?

      It was just as racist as Roach saying "you Mexican mfer" to someone. If you bring up race when it's not necessary, you are being racist.

      But wait... Is "Mexican" a race? I don't think so. Then how is it "racist" to insult Mexicans? And here I thought I understood the issue...

      (Btw does anyone remember if Roach was punished for that offense? If not, I don't think it's fair to punish Broner.)

        Broner has made dumb racist remarks in the past, not on this occasion he hasnt. It was dumb and disrespectful. Still, maybe the ban will do him some good.

          I they want to sent a message cool although in dont entirely agree. The best way to go about these things IMO is a FINE, just let him pay some dollars let his pocket hurt a bit. and if you wanna do some more 2 or 3 days community service on the subject and that is the MAX.

          I think the fact most peeps cant relate to Broner and his humor/jokes, is the reason this all is happening. Peeps wanted to see him fall for the longest and they hoped that Maidana would have done the trick. Now they have another stick to hit victem Broner with...

          I feel bad for broner TBH

                Agreed, Hopkins telling Calzaghe he'd never lose to a white boy sounds more racist to me. This generation is getting soft. Broner said African before he said Mexican, so was he being racist to his own people too? To me Broner was just trying to say anybody can get no matter what race or nationality you are. If it was such a big deal how come nobody did anything when he was saying this stuff in HBO? I also despise everything about Broner but i will defend him on this issue.
